I'm absolutely am in love with this sweater. The quality is top notch, couldn't find this anywhere else for less than $200.It's a wee bit itchy, but a t-shirt underneath will solve that, and probably a washing wld eliminate that. I would only hand wash & block dry it to preserve it's yarn from wear & strtch or shrinking. Bought medium for a 5'8 140pd body.

Aelfric Eden really hits it with this beautifulWomen's Sweater! ThisOversized Chunky Cable Knit Mock Neck is thick and cozy! I ordered this in large because the sweater is detailed as oversized. And indeed it is. I usually wear my things a little oversized and would lean towards an XL but I ordered this in large. It fits great. It fits me like an XL. I’m five 5 1/2 and a solid size 14. The knit on this sweater is really thick. And it feels like fisherman sweater, or a really high-end wool sweater. It’s fabulous! I ordered this in green and I love the color. It’s not quite pine, but it’s not quite Kelly. Just the perfect shade. And the sweater is also marketed as unisex. And there’s absolutely no reason that a man could not wear this sweater, in this style, and in this color. So there’s a plus for versatility. The cable it on it and the ribbon on the cuffs neck and waist are terrific. This is such a well-made item. In full disclosure, I live in the south we don’t get a whole lot of seriously cold weather here. And I am really, really hoping that this will be the year that will have a very chilly winter because I can’t wait to wear this! It is so snuggly, so thick and so very well-made. Pricing on the sweater might dissuade some, but let me tell you I think it’s worth every nickel! And there appears to be a coupon currently for it, making it even more reasonable. Overall, I am so very impressed with what AELTRIC EDEN has delivered here. I sincerely am bowled over. It’s gorgeous, soft, cozy, and so well-made. If I could give this more than five stars I would.

High-End Look and Beautiful Knitwork

I am a fan of Aelfric Eden, and this Aelfric Eden Women's Oversized Chunky Cable Knit Mock Neck Sweater did not disappoint. It is so chic, looks great on, and has a high-end appearance that I really love. The center design reminds me of interconnecting hearts, with two adorable little berry-like balls inside. What I especially like is that the sweater uses many different knitted designs rather than simply repeating the same pattern over and over. Even with all those different textures and patterns, there is clearly a plan to how everything is laid out, which gives the sweater a very polished and intentional look. The design continues onto the back and is just as well done there. The knitwork looks high quality from both sides. The sweater is incredibly soft, thick, and luxurious while still being breathable. It has that cozy substantial feel I want from a chunky sweater without feeling overly heavy or stuffy. This is a unisex sweater, so the sizing is based on men's sizing. This means I as a female need to go down 1 size. In addition, I am currently between a medium and large, but I expect to eventually go back to a medium. Because of that, I decided to size down further and ordered a small. Even in the small, it is not at all form-fitting and is still very generous on me right now. It looks great as it is, and once I return to a medium, it will have an even more oversized fit. I like both looks. I absolutely love this sweater. The unique knitwork, softness, quality, and versatility make it feel like a much more expensive piece, and I rated it 5 stars.

Chocolate Cozy, Cable Knit Dream!

This is such a beautiful, chunky, heavyweight sweater! The quality really impressed me. It’s made from a thick, soft fabric that feels perfect for those chilly fall and winter days when you just want to curl up and get cozy. The brown color is gorgeous and reminds me of a rich chocolate color. The cable knit pattern on the front is especially pretty and almost reminds me of little hearts woven into the design. It gives the sweater a classic look while still feeling trendy. It has a slightly oversized, loose fit, which makes it perfect for layering and extra comfortable without looking sloppy. I can picture wearing this on a cold winter evening, curled up by the fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa. ☕️🔥 This sweater is warm, cozy, beautifully made, and has that classic chunky-knit look I love for the colder months. As much as I love Aelfric Eden's absurd animal sweaters, they also make some really lovely regular ones! I grabbed this for my wife in green and it matches the listing photos perfectly. It's plush and a beautiful neutral to warm green, maybe kelly green? She's 6' and around 150lbs with a slender build, and the medium fits really well. It could possibly be a *nudge* longer, but it still falls below her hips. We've learned with previous sweaters from them that Large just ends up comically oversized and not flattering. The mock neck is definitely loose enough to not feel choking as she's quite sensitive about it and this passes the test. Overall, if you love how it looks in the picture, you'll probably be pretty happy with this.

Thick and cozy

I ordered this sweater in green, and it’s such a beautiful shade; not too bright, not too dark. Chucky is a good description for this sweater, as it’s thick, but manages to be so without weighing you down. I love how soft this is, and won’t have to worry about long sleeves under it to avoid itching all day. Highly recommend this item, the price is worth the quality, and it looks and feels like you would have paid twice as much.

Lovely winter sweater

It's super warm and it's thick and chunky, nice and soft. It fits me perfectly, I think. I love the cableknit design. It's 51% recycled polyester 28% PST (whatever that is) 15% polyester 6% wool Machine wash cold, inside out, no softener no bleach, tumble dry low. I haven't washed it yet, but it feels like it'll do just fine. It's a nice addition to my winter wear. I got size small and I'm 5'5 and 113 lbs for reference.

Lovely and versatile

Love, love, love everything about this sweater. It’s a little boxy, but hits right at the hips for a flattering silhouette. The pattern is classy, and the color is a rich neutral dark beige that will go with jeans, trousers, or skirts in a variety of colors. The fabric is soft and the sweater has a nice heft without being heavy or bulky. The mock turtle neck is a bit tight, but a gentle stretch after washing will give it more room.
