I took my first trip with this suitcase. It was very easy to roll, and it looks good and sturdy. One feature that did not work out well was is the special compartment for the power pack. It may be handy to have it at the airport, but once the suitcase is up above in the compartment on the airplane, it is no longer accessible. My carry-on bag glides along the floor and is easily maneuverable over different surfaces. The interior seems slightly less roomy than my former bag but I can always expand the bag outwards with the zipper.

Love, love, love this suitcase. It was perfect for our 10-day trip. Great design, stylish, holds a LOT of items, just enough pockets and packs, durable, and doesn’t get scratched like the hard-sided luggage. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars as TravelPro is known for its cheesy, easily breakable zipper pulls. I have a smaller TravelPro that I also loved but several of the zipper pulls broke off and/or the attachments broke. It seems to be a common problem with this luggage, reading reviews on various sites. I don’t understand why the company doesn’t use higher quality zipper parts for what would not seem to be a great cost to them, as it would make for a much happier customer. I will change the rating to 5 stars once I use the suitcase several more times, IF I still have intact zippers! ... show more

Sturdy and glides across sidewalks and the hotel and airport floors. Roomy with lots of useful features to stow items. Expensive, but if you travel a lot it is well worth the cost.

I’ve fully converted to this Travelpro series. You can periodically find excellent deals on Amazon and Macy’s - this time the best deal by far was on Amazon. It has excellent features, including a suiter, which is unusual for a carry on size, and packing is a breeze with all the relevant pockets and tightening straps. The wheels roll smoothly, and the color (grey with brown accent) is pretty resistant to stains and is easily identifiable without being ostentatious. This series (we have the carry on and checked size) comes with a handle at the bottom of the bag which is an extremely underrated feature that allows you to lift this bag without just wrenching it by one handle only.
