I like how it’s easily transportable. But if you are looking for full coverage you should probably go for a bigger umbrella even if it’s slightly bigger than this one. Also, this has some issues with closing nicely the metal to fold it back in place isn’t very stiff. But overall, a good affordable portable umbrella….and it’s pretty cute ... show more

I use it to pick up kiddo in Florida. It's great for afternoon sun. Small and sturdy, manual opening and closing so it's less likely to break, very easy to open and close, my8 year old can operate it. Performance wise, I've mostly used it for windless sunny days, can't comment on effectiveness during windy days, it does hold light rain. Great for daily use and travel. It's not big enough for two people, maybe covers half adult and a child. But best used as personal shade. Good value for money ... show more

I bought this to take with me to a theme park, where I knew it would be extremely hot and sunny or rainy or both. Worked for everything I needed! It is a tiny bit flimsy so I wouldn’t use this in anything above a slight breeze. Nice and compact! It did have a very bad pungent odor when I opened it though. This was awesome to have in my bag when I was at the fair and didn’t have any shade. It worked great until the wind picked up. It is pretty flimsy since it’s so lightweight so it DOES NOT WORK IF WINDY.
