First off, this umbrella is sleek. I love that it comes in a little carrying case (that was one of the first things my wife noticed), and that it's even in a little bag within the carrying case. That ensures that it fits into small places and is easy to keep in your backpack for your every day carry. However, the execution of its use is somewhat more difficult. Getting the umbrella out of the case, the bag, and then open, isn't that big of a deal. It's definitely small when it's closed, but it opens to a more-or-less adult size. Unfortunately, however, because it's so small, it's pretty challenging to get it folded back up. I found myself trying to roll it up multiple times (and I can just imagine being frustrated at getting water all over my hands when it's wet), and finally getting it to a size where I could squeeze it back into its bag (think packing up a tent). My only other concern was how this would hold up in the wind. Because it's small, the telescoping bar that holds the fabric out to make the umbrella is required to slowly get skinnier and skinner, meaning that eventually it gets pretty skinny, and I can imagine it possibly snapping in some strong wind.

This is an amazing value for such a small and useful travel or purse umbrella. I love how small, compact and light weight it is. It is SPF 50 which is perfect to double for rain as well as sun protection. I was careful upon opening it for the first time since it was so small and light weight, but it opened and closed pretty much like other travel umbrellas. The exterior is a color outer fabric with another layer of black fabric on the inside. There is not room between the layers so it cuts down the bulk. What it comes with: It comes with a semi hard zippered box with a carabiner so you can attach it to the outside of your carry on or backpack. The case is very light weight and adds very little extra weight. It also comes with an easy to use sleeve for the times I just want to put it in my purse. The snap is strong, yet easy to unsnap. Note: the zipper on the case was designed very thoughtful. The way it is designed is that you can either open it all the way by unzipping it all the way around. Or by just zipping the top to easily remove it without unzipping the entire case…very clever. This is a mini umbrella and I wouldn’t use it in strong winds for obvious reasons, however for a travel umbrellas this one is perfect for my needs. Plus it is compact enough to fit easily in our car glove box.

Small enough for an everyday carry in my bag for work or when traveling. Comes with a nice carrying case that helps to protect it from getting crushed and the clip makes it easy to stay in one place. The umbrella is opened manually, material is thin and the coverage is small, just enough for me but might be too small for some (check the measurements before purchasing). I don’t think this will hold up in strong winds. But overall serves the purpose of getting this umbrella.

This umbrella is quite small and lightweight which is nice, and it comes in a nifty zippered carrying case that has a carabiner so you can attach it to luggage or a stroller, etc. The umbrella itself is just okay. It doesn’t open automatically, so you have to manually stretch it out and try to get it to click in place which is a little hard. It’s only big enough for one person and doesn’t appear strong enough to hold up to heavy wind without inverting. This is an umbrella strictly for light rain. Also, when you go to close it, it’s really hard to get the shaft to collapse down fully to its small size. You have to really use some muscle to get it to collapse the last 6 inches down. It’s not an umbrella you want to have to keep opening and closing. I love that it’s small and has the cute carrying case but I’m a little meh on the actual umbrella. Seems like it will be a pain to use.

I can’t even tell you how long I’ve went without an umbrella. And I love this one is so small and convenient. It literally fits in my bag, even with the whole carry case.

I really like this umbrella as it comes in a little case with a carabiner clip to attach to your bag. It is a hard case that doesn’t fold in on itself, which is nice. I think it is super cute and great for traveling. I got it to bring in my bag with me to work. The umbrella works fine, but is kind-of small, maybe only a little bigger than a kids umbrella would be. Would work great as a kids umbrella, in fact! It is a bit flimsy, too— it would probably turn inside out with winds or break easily if you’re not careful. Works good for basic rain coverage, though, and that’s all I got it for.

This ultra-compact umbrella is designed for travel and outdoor adventures, with UV-blocking fabric and a lightweight build. While it offers decent rain and sun protection in mild conditions, it feels a bit too fragile for everyday use or heavy wind. What I Like: It’s small and very light — easy to clip to a backpack or slip into a bag without much thought. The UV protection works well, and the inner lining does noticeably reduce heat in direct sun. I also like that it comes with both a sleeve and a hard case to keep things dry and neat after use. The carabiner is handy for on-the-go situations like hiking or day trips. Concerns: The base is wobbly, and it doesn’t feel sturdy enough for strong winds or regular city use. Folding it back into the case takes some patience, and it doesn’t snap back as smoothly as I’d hoped. For the price it’s listed at, I expected better durability — it’s functional but not built to last long-term. Final Thoughts: This umbrella is a decent option for travel, camping, or as a lightweight backup, but not something I’d rely on every day. It’s more about portability than rugged performance. If the price were a bit lower, it would match the value better.
