It's our second one - we bought one four years ago for our daughter when she was in high school and it was still in great condition despite how rough she was with it though school and marching band trips. I had planned to use it myself on a vacation, but discovered that she had old, melted chocolate in the bottom of it when I dug it out of her closet. I ordered a new one (you literally can't beat the price) and was thrilled that they are still selling and available. I took it through several airports and on a 9-night cruise, also using through several ports through New England and Canada in the fall. It's now my travelling backpack of choice and I'll use it for all my future trips! It's stupid-crazy how much I can fit in this thing! There are pockets for days and I love how you can unzip the large inside pocket all the way around. I was able to pack my 17" laptop, extra keyboard mouse and chords, as well as a few days of clothes, phone chargers and battery packs, overnight traveling toiletries, makeup pouch, wallet, passport, several water bottles, and still had room to spare. This was in the airport. When I used it out and about during the cruise at various ports, I never once came close to filling it. I always carried a stainless steel water bottle and extra water bottles for filling. I had snacks and carried several shopping items. This backpack has been AMAZING! I bought it Feb 2023, so almost 2yrs ago. It is my work backpack and my travel bag. On average it holds 15-20 pounds daily. As you can see in the pictures, the "issues" are very minor considering what it goes through regularly. I needed something strong and durable for work because my straps were always coming apart in top from the weight. As you can see in the picture, there's no signs it'll be failing anytime soon. I love the amount of pockets it has for storage and I also love the exterior charging port so that I can plug in my devices when I'm traveling. It DOES fit under all airline seats I've been on, just don't fully stuff it full and it'll fit. It still holds A Lot! (Some seats are like sardine cans and it fits) Originally, I was hoping to get at least a year out of this for the cheap cost but this bag has exceeded my expectations and I feel confident it'll last many more! My daughter and a friend have actually purchased this same backpack because they've seen how durable it is! Other perks: The zippers do come together with hooks so you can lock it up if needed. The straps are padded which make it more comfortable with the heavy weight in it. I love that there is a pocket on the back side to keep things hidden (cash, cards, documents, ect.) and more secure when you're traveling. It has lots of extra little straps which I'm not sure what they're actually for, but I attach my work badge to the one on the shoulder straps for fast/ easy access. ... show more

The biggest compartment allows zipping right down the side of the bag on one side and almost completely on the other side so you can put a bulky items/s in without straining the zipper. I wanted an actual backpack to haul my laptop and miscellaneous business stuff around, rather than the awkward laptop case I had been using previously, which only had one single shoulder harness. This backpack makes pulling the laptop out for security screening a breeze, so in that way, this is a perfect replacement. It's very comfortable to use as a backpack, even when loaded down fully. Minor complaint is that it's sometimes kind of hard to get it off my back when very heavy and I have the shoulder straps tightened down. I am still learning where all my stuff is located--it has a LOT of available spots and slots and zippered pockets. Time will help me memorize where it all is, so that's on me. It has TONS of available storage space, so much so that I could easily pack maybe two days' worth of clothes in it (along with all my other work stuff) and not even pack a suitcase, which is a big win for me. Overall, very well built, heavy-duty fabric and zippers, and grab handle and shoulder straps. I'm quite happy and would buy again, especially at this price point. I researched a ton of back packs on Amazon. I have a good amount of back packs at home but this one needed to fill my purpose for work. The first pic I provided shows 4 legal size accordion file folders in the main pocket. Each file folder has documents and note pad(s) to help keep papers neat and organized by subject/title. Prior backpacks were not tall enough to receive the height of the folders and the zipper would eat into the folder. I had looked into buying more expensive bags but they didn't seem to separate themselves. The endless research, suggestions and reviews brought me to this bag. It's comfy to carry and large enough for all of my work needs. The height of the main pocket was my biggest want. The laptop compartment has pockets for 2 laptops and a tablet. Also in that laptop compartment are pockets to hold chargers and other accessories. The zippers glide like they are premium. More than enough pockets and compartments for all of my needs. This backpack is my portable office. Laptop, charger, mouse, tablet, portable charger, phone cord, extra note pads, plastic organizers (pencil cases, 2nd pic) that I bought online to keep pens and markers handy. I'm not a briefcase type. I carry a portable radio for work and the side pockets are deep and perfect to hold it securely. I attach a 64 Oz water bottle onto the straps and I'm good to go. No, I'm not cycling around town with the bag so I can't help with that review. The side straps allow the pack profile to be narrow when not filled to capacity. The main pocket would be ideal for a weekend of casual clothes and toiletries. Anything more than that would be pushing it for me.
