This is a cartoon that is Lightning McQueen. I thought it would be a knock-off brand, but it isn’t. My 3 year old loves it… and he is addicted to Cars (the movie). He loves remote controls, transformers and McQueen!!… so this is a win, win, win. The price point on it at around $20 is good for the product you get. It is a fun car and has already provided hours of fun. The headlights really turn on, and when it is in its transformed position, it can still move. This is a cute little remote control car. My son LOVES the movie Cars, so he was so excited to unbox this. The remote is a little confusing. I was expecting a button to make the car transform, but there’s a joystick on the right that controls the transform option, while the left controls going forward or backwards. There are several faux buttons that look like they should do something, but it’s just decoration. The car spins in circles when you reverse, and that’s really the only way we got it to turn, so there are limited options to control the direction of the car if you want to go left or right. The car comes with a rechargeable battery, while the remote takes two AA batteries (not included). Overall, it’s was novel for a bit, and fun for a while. The media could not be loaded. The box contained 1 - robot car and remote control and a USB charger cable. There were no instructions on how to operate. The car does have an accurate shape of the movie car and is somewhat thick plastic. When the car arrived, the box was worn and used looking, damaged, and the plastic and stickers on the car were scratched and peeling. I liked the USB charger cable glows red when charging with no glow when complete. The left paddle on the remote makes the car go forward/backward using a spinning wheel underneath the car and it is fast, but only in a straight line as there is no steering it. The right paddle makes it transform and it does that well. This product is not overpriced. Because of the damage and used looking condition of everything and peeling stickers, I am not satisfied with this product. ... show more

nothing in the description says that only it turns in reverse. You can get full function RC vehicles for this price. the transformation is pretty cool, but still it is over priced for what it is.

So my grandson loves remote control cars and the fact that this one is an actual car from the movie is even better. But can I say this is actually a really cool invention the fact that it switches from a remote control car to a transformer with a remote control is awesome. Me being an adult I was amazed. The headlights on the remote control car super bright and it goes a decent speed. It's really easy to use and I can say that this car was definitely a great buy for my grandson. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My 4yo son loves this toy. I played with it and what I noticed is it is limited in some functions. You can only turn in reverse. Transforming sometimes takes a couple extra seconds too. However for my 4yo this isn’t a big deal. He is more obsessed with the fact this is lightning McQueen who is a transformer. I will also add the remote control feels a little on the cheap side, but it works and overall I think this is a fun toy. It has provided lots of entertainment for my son! ... show more

My daughter is obsessed with the movies Cars and this was the perfect gift for her. It has limited control options, but still provided hours of fun. It's not the most amazing rc car on the market, but for a Cars fan it was a great gift.
