I don't have a ton of space in my bedroom or apartment so I switched to this hammock (instead of a bed) in the hopes of getting a bit more floor space for exercise. Since I bought it I have not had any issues with it fraying or feeling unstable. Which is nice because I weigh 260 lbs and expect most things to break under my weight. For most people it probably isn't a good idea to sleep in a hammock full time because of various hangup and it is definitely a skill to set up things for 8 hours of sleep but I enjoy it quite a bit. ... show more

The only reason I didn't leave a 5 star is that you are so low to the ground that my husband has a hard time getting out of it and there fore does not use it. I use it and find it very relaxing!

First off, color is way off. I was supposed to get red and it looks magenta. The material isn’t uncomfortable but it feels like the jersey material you would wear in gym class. I’m probably gonna upgrade it with a different hammock elsewhere. I would’ve given this thing 5 stars if it sold just the stand. This is the only one I could find that had a collapsible function as opposed to reassembling every time I wanted to use it. I plan to use this on my balcony and I want to take it up and down with ease cuz Florida summer months are tough during the day but beautiful at sunset. I’ll have to see how this holds up with summer rain. You’re safe purchasing it, but I was hoping for better material for the hammock for the price. ... show more

I weight 250 pounds so hammocks have been semi love hate relationship but this portable hammock which takes 2 minutes to set up gives me the confidence to get in and not fall through. It is very sturdy and I recommend this product to anyone weather in the back yard, camping or an extra bed.
