  • Great gloves. I wish I got them years ago!
Color: hi vis Size: Medium-Large
These are terrific. They're warm, but not too warm, and they block the wind perfectly. The other day we had 17 degree F weather with 28 mph winds. I didn't really want to go for my morning run, but I did, and I'm glad I did. My hands never got cold. I used them in temperatures above 35 degrees F, and they were comfortable, as well. My wife tried them on. She's very picky about gloves because her hands get very cold. She loves them, as well. Oh, and their responsiveness to my iphone is fabulous. Any touches or swipes respond flawlessly. I don't have to get my hands cold to check my phone. Buy these gloves. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Good fit and very warm
Color: hi vis Size: Small-Medium
I got these to wear when running in cold weather. I usually run in the late evenings, rain or shine. In cold weather these gloves really keep my hands warm. They are thicker than the standard TrailHeads gloves I usually wear. In rain or freezing weather these have become my go to glove. It's nice that the reflective mitt can be tucked away if needed. I often run with my index finger outside the mitt to be able to keep some finger dexterity for my headlamp or flashlight. I like the high visibility color of the mitt since I am frequently running in the dark. The overall fit is great. I usually wear a medium in most gloves (like Mechanix Wear) and these TrailHeads gloves in medium fit me great. ... show more

  • Good Versatile Glove/Mitten that meets a runners needs.
Color: black / reflective Size: Medium-Large
When I first got them I thought they were way too thin. The micro fleece is warm though and they are warm enough without my hands getting over heated. Now I like that they are thin and not bulky. I have taken them out running in 35-40 degree weather I find them warm enough without the mitt cover. When it is windy the mitt over is laminated so it makes the gloves wind proof. I think as the temperature dips below freezing I will add silk liners. I add liners to all my gloves. The nose wiper fabric on the thumb is a nice soft waffle knit polar fleece. It has an attractive cuff with magnets to keep them together. I love how versatile they are the can be glove and mitt and they are light enough to shove down a vest pocket with out looking too ridiculous. On sizing my from wrist to the tip of my longest finger is 7.5 inches so I went with the M/L but I think I could have gotten away with the S/M as there is still room for my finger tips and its pretty roomy width wise, plus its a polar knit fleece so it stretches...so if your close to my size and on the fence and like a snug fit go with the smaller one. ... show more

  • Lightweight and reflective
Color: black / reflective Size: Small-Medium
Lightweight and reflective; great to improve your "be seen" in low light conditions. Decent finger protection with dexterity. The thin mitt cover will not add much warmth, but will cut the wind and provide moisture protection. Good fit and touchscreen responsive.

  • Perfect running and everything else gloves
Color: black / reflective Size: Medium-Large
I really love the Trailhead gloves. While at first glance and feel they seem thin, the fact that there is both finger gloves, and a "mitten" type cover makes these gloves very versatile. The material both breathes well, and when the "mitten" portion is one the fingers, the are remarkable warm. This is especially great for running because my hands start out cold, and then warm quickly. Being able to both cover and uncover my fingers when they get too warm or too cold is awesome. The "mitten" part is fully attached, but can be squished into a sown in pouch on the top of the hand. This makes popping some fingers out of the mitten to cool, or grab something, or use a phone, etc. super simple. I have walked and run in them in temps down as low as 20 degrees with little issue. (Personal comfort may vary - these are not true winter gloves, but they cut the wind and some cold temps well.) The Trailhead logo on the back of the mitten and silver band reflect light well for night runs. Overall, I am very happy with these... and this is my second pair. I purchased my first about a year ago and they are still holding up. I just needed another pair for when I throw them in the wash. ... show more

  • Better Quality and Fit Than Name Brand
Color: black / reflective Size: Small-Medium
I ordered these to replace a similar (and expensive) pair made by Cr_ft Sportwear that I bought last year that started falling apart after a month. The first thing I noticed about this is that the overall length is much longer. I run in sub-zero temperatures here and there's nothing worse than cold wrists. The fabric is thicker and the piping around the flip-over mitten covers are much more durable (this is what came unstitched and fell off one of the other gloves). I carry rechargable hand warmers when I run in tempertures below 30 degress and they fit nicely inside the mitten covers. The fit is more contoured and form-fitting and the snot strip is much larger and better (and I use it)! While I don't use my phone when I run, the conductive fingertips work well when I need to interact with my Sennheiser earbuds. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about these and they cost much less than my previous pair of gloves. ... show more

  • Warm gloves, but not great for running
Color: hi vis Size: Small-Medium
As someone with Raynaud's Syndrome (circulation issues in my hands and feet affected mostly by cold weather), I was in search of gloves with a mitten cover for running during the fall and winter in the PNW (wet most of the time and cold mornings/afternoons). While I liked the lightweight nature of the mitten material, I was disappointed that the glove liner was a fleece glove liner. I might not have purchased them if I had seen that in the description. I could tell that I would never be able to wear these in the rain. A shell liner would have been much better. Even at 35 degrees, my hands were sweating a ton within the first mile of my run. By the time I was done with a one hour run, my hands were just soaking wet. As someone with circulation issues and ALWAYS COLD hands, this might seem like a win for these gloves, but it was just not comfortable. I won't be keeping them. Also, I needed to stop to adjust a lace and it took a lot of time and effort to get my hands out of the damp liner, retie my shoe, and get them back on. Just not for me. ... show more

  • warm for winter running
Color: black / reflective Size: Small-Medium
I love the flap-over to cover my fingers. These gloves keep my hands warm on 20 degree runs and allow me additional dexterity when the mitten flap is removed. these are my go-to gloves. I am a small female and the men's S/M is the exact same size as the women's but offered the solid black with silver accents that I liked. My hands are small and these fit perfectly for running. I run rails/trails and pick up foxtails in the stretch before my turn-around point, and these are perfect. Mitten is easy on/easy off. The gloves themselves pull of easily as well. My hands have never gotten wet, and stay warm even on blustery days. ... show more
