Size: TV5X 5,000 LBS Built In Jack And TVDA

Features

  • MAXIMUM TOWING CAPACITY Move trailers weighing up to 5,000 pounds with ease using the built-in jack and TVDA drill adapter included in the Trailer Valet 5XDA system. Designed to support tongue weights from 250 to 500 pounds, the dolly excels in tight spaces like storage lots, driveways, and launch ramps. Whether maneuvering RVs, boat trailers, or cargo haulers, this compact mover offers powerful, user-friendly operation.
  • HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION Built with a welded steel frame and finished in Trailer Valets signature wrinkle black powder coating for rust and corrosion resistance, the TV5XDA features never-flat solid rubber tires and a sealed gear system. Designed to withstand exposure to fresh or salt water environments, this dolly ensures long-term durability and consistent trailer handling in all conditions.
  • VERSATILE OPERATION Use the detachable hand crank for controlled, manual adjustments, or power up with any 20 to 24 volt cordless drill and the included Trailer Valet Drill Adapter for faster movement. The built-in brake engages automatically when the handle is down for added control. The 5% push-grade capability is push only, do not pull trailer up any kind of incline with the RVR3 mover. Works best on paved or well-packed gravel surfaces.
  • COMPLETE PACKAGE Includes the Trailer Valet 5X mover, integrated jack, 8 inch mounting bracket and hardware, TVDA drill adapter, and removable hand crank. The 2-in-1 design allows you to hitch, unhitch, and move your trailer without switching between jacks and movers, making it a must-have tool for trailer owners managing multiple trailer types.
  • EASY INSTALLATION The 5XDA easily mounts to your trailer frame using the included bracket and hardware. Its rotating design lets you stow the unit upright when not in use and swing it down for operation. For best results, perform regular maintenance using the Trailer Valet Maintenance Kit (TV5XMK) and clean the system every 1 to 3 uses.

  • It was a process but finally got it installed
Size: TV5X 5,000 LBS Built In Jack And TVDA
I ordered this and initially received it damaged (the first picture). I contacted Trailer Valet and it took A LOT of back and forth ( a lot! ) with customer service to get this resolved. After a bit they shipped me another item that arrived in perfect condition (second picture). UPS can be a little "rough" sometimes- not Trailer Valets fault but still frustrating. After I received the new undamaged package, I installed it on my boat trailer: a 2025 Tracker 175 directly opposite of the factory jack and it works perfectly to help me move the boat up my concrete driveway that has a slight grade into its parking spot on the side of the house. The brake function holds well so I can stop and make sure I am lined up with the gate to move it the rest of the way into its parking space. I prefer the hand crank to the drill attachment for my use but the drill works pretty well if your are moving straight but the crank is easier to steer and control if you are turning - use drill on a low speed and the wheel doesn't spin. Yes, I can back a trailer and have done it several times but there is not much room to maneuver the truck and to many things to back into, the gate is only 5 inches wider than the boat trailer so using this to slowly put it into its spot without hitting anything is much easier and safer than using the truck, there just is not enough room to easily maneuver it in place. I am happy with the XL, it works great for what I need it for. My trailer is a single axle, only about 2500 lbs and the upgrade is pretty slight I could almost push it without the T.V. but having the brake to keep it from rolling forward while I stop and check my position makes this a lot easier - I DO recommend it but have reasonable expectations it requires some effort and I dont think it'd be good for steep inclines. I chose this one because it is easily removable from the trailer while not in use and I need the brake because of the slight grade on the driveway; it is a great solution for the cost. ... show more

  • Great Value and Product
Size: TVXL25 10,000 LBS With 2-5/16 Inch Ball
This worked great!!! Backing into our driveway is not even close to an option. So I pulled in unhitched the trailer and attached the Valet XL. Our trailer is 24’ long and 4800lbs dry and it moved it with ease. It was a 10 point turn but it went flawlessly. Left a few tire marks on the ground but they will wash off. We have a spite slope on our driveway but it was not problem. I could set the brake walk away and check my clearance. I used the drill attachment on the low gear and moved it all alone with no help. I would recommend this to anyone. Quality of the build is very sturdy and solid. I could see how there would be issues on not solid grounds as some people complain about but for our situation it worked perfectly! ... show more

  • Too Good To Be True - It Doesn't Work
I was hoping this would help us more easily get our 23' wake boat into its storage area. We are able to get the boat perfectly lined up and partway in with the truck, before we run out of cranking room in the offset approach. All the Trailer Valet XL had to do was push the trailer straight back less than 10 feet on clean and flat pavement. It didn't work. The Trailer Valet XL had a hard time pushing or pulling the trailer on the flat pavement, and absolutely could not push the trailer wheels over a less than 1" ridge where the cement pad met the pavement. We tried everything - making sure the trailer brakes were locked out, purchasing a new corded high-torque drill, using the hand crank, etc. The tires would just slip on the pavement, the unit would bind up, etc. Even adding weight on the tongue didn't help. We ended up just pushing it by hand with a couple of people, no problem doing it by hand - I was just hoping the Trailer Valet would be a one person solution and remove the dependency on having people around. This brings us to the heart of the matter - the energy and time expended with the Trailer Valet XL is probably more than just doing it another way. If you can't do it by hand, it is unlikely that the Trailer Valet will be able to do it effectively either. The Trailer Valet XL might work on a small light trailer, but only on flat pavement, and nowhere near its rated capacity - it might hold something bigger, but it won't move it effectively based on my hours of trying to get it to work. Traction with the small rounded tires seems to be the biggest issue for heavier trailers, as well as some issues with ratcheting and binding every now and then inside the unit. It's a good thought, but like everything else that seems too good to be true, it fails in its implementation. ... show more
