  • Wish I Bought These Sooner
I put off buying parallel guides for a long time, and I regret not doing it sooner. They’ve sped up my workflow tremendously, especially when breaking down sheet goods too wide for my table saw. Since I break down sheet goods on my garage floor, they’ve also saved my knees from crawling around from one end of the track to the other, checking and double-checking the setup. The weight of the guides even helps keep the track in place without clamps, which is a bonus I didn’t expect. - Setup & Compatibility: Easy to assemble and worked seamlessly with my WEN track saw. - Accuracy: Calibration was straightforward, and once dialed in, cuts are very precise. I still double-check measurements out of habit, but the scale has proven reliable. - Micro Adjustment: I’ve only used it to fine-tune measurements so far. The needle can be a little hard to see through the glass, but it’s a minor annoyance. - Build Quality: Solid and well-machined. No play in the joints once assembled. The heft comes from the adjustment mechanism, so I handle the track carefully to avoid twisting. - Value: This is my first set of parallel guides, so I can’t compare them to others, but I’m extremely happy with them. They’re not cheap, but the quality justifies the price. Bottom line: If you’re on the fence, don’t wait as long as I did—these guides are a game-changer for track saw work. ... show more

  • Exceptional quality but longer extension sections would be nice.
These parallel guides are of the exceptional quality that I found to be consistent with this brand. The one strike against these guides are the multiple smaller track sections needed to make a longer guide. Fewer but longer sections would be more convenient. All the track sections and connectors are in the kit, but it takes longer to setup than some other brands. However, the track sections are precision machined and assemble rigidly. The micro-adjust feature is extremely precise and allows you to dial in perfectly parallel cuts. I highly recommend this product as a high-quality lower cost alternative to some of the more expensive products. ... show more

  • Quality and easy to use
Very well made and easy to set up. Was very secure on track. Micro adjustments simple when preforming initial setup. Made repetitive cut very easy. Very impressed with the quality. My only minor complaint is the scales could be better, the major dimensions whole inch’s/100mm are the same size as the fractions. You just have to be aware when setting up fixture. A very good product ... show more

  • Making repeatable cuts? Gotta have this tool!
Engineering: Outstanding, Quality: Outstanding, Accuracy: Outstanding, Workmanship: Outstanding, Packaging: Excellent (much better than most). Ease of use after setup: Outstanding. Highly recommend keeping iPad or phone handy while setting up so one can review video during setup/installation. If you are a using a track/saw for cutting repeatable cuts this is the tool. Setup can be a bit daunting, but if you fiddle with it (as you refer to the video and instruction booklet), the results are un-matched (even when compared to the "other high priced brand")....can't go wrong. I have all of the Goingmake tools with the exception of one....never disappointed. Wish there was a hardshell case available as this is a precision tool. ... show more

  • Works well for consistent cuts
Pretty top notch for the cost. I haven’t used other parallel setups, but this worked great for constructing mdf built ins. Consistent cuts and easy to to setup. Used with a cheap wen corded track saw.

  • Great tool good price!
Great tool. Easy to use. Makes easily repeatable cuts. Gave 4 stars because it is heavy compared to my other one. Super durable though. Very much like how the small cut rods lock into place. Could use better points on magnifiers. Micro adjusts are great. Super accurate. Measurements are spot on. Wish imperial and metric were on opposite sides of the sets so if you are using metric those measures are on the outside and if you swap the side then imperial is on the outside. Other than that love the system. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Well made & has precision micro adjustable flip stop
Super high quality anodized aluminum build with laser etched markings. Works perfectly with Festool tracks (only brand I have) and the precision micro adjustable flip stops insure repeatability with .001 adjustment. Very east to assemble & attach to your track.

  • Worth the money? Not really.
Pros: Good build quality, easy calibration Cons: These are pretty heavy and as other reviewers have commented the a lot of reflections in magnifier sight glass making it hard to read. This is disappointing since one of the main reasons why I ordered these was because of the magnifier. Eyes areas good as they used to be, but the magnifier actually makes it worse. Haven’t decided if I am going to return them or just remove the magnifying glass. Also it’s very easy to calibrate the curser to zero, but no way to lock in the calibration once set. if you accidentally bump the adjustment knob it will throw them the calibration. Would be nice if you could lock it in like you can the micro adjuster for the stops. ... show more
