I'm probably going to return this, we'll see - do not buy. First issue I have with this case is that it completely covers the kickstand. This might not be an issue for some, but I would like to be able to use every feature of my console without having to remove the case - which is tough to get on and take off of the body. In addition, the case covers parts of the screen. It doesn't interfere with vision or gameplay, but it feels like an oversight - like they just guessed at the dimensions of the console. Which they probably did, and that tells me that quality is not a priority. And lastly, this case is not dockable. Are you able to get it into the dock? Probably, but I was too scared to use the amount of force required to find out. Maybe it's the material and not the dimensions, but either way it does not go in and come out easily, which worries me as far as early wear and tear are concerned. Having had the original switch model and the OLED model, a protective clear case should not resist docking and undocking at all and I caution any who wouldn't think much of using force to (un)dock your NS 2. I'm sure as the months go by another version of this product will come out, but as it is now I can't recommend this product in good faith at all. I already have a replacement on the way.

Very hard to get on and off. You basically have to stretch it out to the point where it's deformed to get it on. Covers the kickstand. It was marketed as "dockable" at the time of purchase but from what I can see they've since changed the description. Only giving two stars because the included screen protector works, though it's kinda hard to mess that up. Although, the microfiber cloth they include for prepping the screen is covered in a fine dust that made the screen dirtier than when I started. Already opened and used so I can't return but I would in a heartbeat. Highly recommend against buying this unless you only want the screen protector.

This is not sized or cut properly this case makes it so you can’t dock your switch anymore there is no cutout for the stand essentially you can’t dock your no longer use the switch 2 in hands free to dock mode anymore don’t buy

Difficult to get on and off. Make sure you install the memory card before putting on. The grips for controllers feel really good. Great price to get a case and screen protector. Skipped the grips for the analogs but they are cool. For under 15 bucks its a no brainer.

Please see my disclaimer for Vine provided items at the end of this review. This case uses your typical budget glossy TPU material. They were smart enough to texture the back of the joycon grips, because glossy TPU feels really gross to hold after a while when it warms up and your hands start to sweat. The texture on the joycon shells is quite light however. It feels ok, but may not last long before wearing down and turning shiny. Another thing about budget clear TPU is that it tends to yellow with time. The oils and acids in your hands can accelerate that reaction. The material begins to deteriorate and it becomes very sticky to the touch. Can not say this particular case will do that, but given the number of identical clear TPU cases being sold on Amazon pre-release of the Switch 2, I would bet on this being low grade TPU without UV inhibitors. Generally you will get a few years use of a case before it starts to degrade, so it is not an immediate concern. The main issue I have with this case is that the TPU is quite thin. Because it is so thin, the material does not have much rigidity, and warps easily. You can see from my sample photos that joycon shells and the thin sections that run along the side of the screen are already warped. Usually when this happens, the TPU will not lay flat on the device, and will always be ano annoyance. We will see how it fits when the Switch 2 releases. The product specifications also claim the case is dock compatible. Obviously no way to confirm that yet, but I do not see a reason why it would not be, given now thin the TPU is. You also get 2 glass screen protectors with the kit. They feel like average glass protectors, and they do have an oleophobic coating on them to reduce fingerprints. Some of the super cheap protectors will claim to have this coating, but do not. So that is nice that these do. The corners are square and not rounded. Unsure how well that will fit the screen of the Switch 2. The joystick toppers are a throwaway item in my opinion. But for those that actually want to use them, they appear to be the large size meant for full size joysticks on normal console game controllers. If the Switch 2 uses the same joysticks as the Switch 1 joycons, these are not going to fit. So keep that in mind. For the $16 most of these clear TPU combo kits are priced right now, the value for everything you get is not bad. But if the quality is not great, and the fit is not good, you would be wasting your money. I would wait until the Switch 2 comes out next month before buying one of these kits. It is clear these are being mass produced by the same manufacturer and resold by a number of resellers, so they all should have the same fit and quality.
