  • It Works For My 10-Year Old Desktop
Style: AX3000 - Newer Model
I have a pretty top-of-the-line PC—that's 10 years old. I've upgraded the inside parts over time to be in line with current technology, however, the included wireless option was too slow for me so I've been hard-wired, until now. This is a fantastic Wifi 6 card for those of you that have an available PCIe x1 slot or newer. I was debating Wifi 6E, but it's too new and not as compatible, as I've read. — INSTALLATION — You are provided everything you need: a Wifi card, Bluetooth cable, and antennas. 1) Slip card into an available PCIe x1 slot 2) For Bluetooth, attach Bluetooth cable from the card to an available F_USB slot on your motherboard (I had to disconnect a memory card reader that I never used to make room for this) 3) Close your computer and attach antennas on the outside 4) Install drivers from CD, but I recommend TP-Link's website for the latest version. — DRIVERS — The drivers on the CD worked for Bluetooth, but not for Wifi. Luckily, I was able to get a newer version on TP-Link's website, and that worked. I recommend installing drivers directly from their website. — SUMMARY — The card is fast. It peaks at 200 Mbps for me, which is what my current internet plan is. It is basically as fast as my previous wired connection. It works, even for a 10-year-old PC. Recommended. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade
Style: AXE5400 - WiFI 6E
I replaced the card that came with the computer a few years ago. I was having range and speed issues with the old card. This card solved all of my connectivity issues. I was hitting around 50-100mbps when connected. Now I'm near 500mbps consistently and without any range issues. The installation was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. ... show more

  • great wifi, not so good bluetooth
Style: AX3000
No issues with the wifi. Getting over 300mbps. But the bluetooth is dependent on your motherboard. Other reviews have mentioned this. My Dell workstation has a mobo usb header, but it doesn't provide enough juice for this card to give reliable bluetooth. Not really a spec that is ever discussed, so I can't really fault the card. I ended up unplugging the bluetooth and getting an external bluetooth antenna. If your mobo puts out enough usb power this is probably a fine piece of hardware. But for me it is a 4 star unit and required more money to get to the full solution. Really they should have grabbed power from the pcie slot and not messed around with a bandaid bluetooth solution. Bluetooth issue: choppy and interrupted audio ... show more

  • Let there be wifi!
Style: AX3000 - Newer Model
Bought this to bring an older motherboard up to date. I haven't checked speeds but it downloaded everything I needed quickly. Bye bye ethernet cord run halfway across the house!

  • Capable WiFi/BT card
Style: AX3000 - Newer Model
Purchased this so I could link my android phone to my PC to make long calls more comfortable with my headset, as my motherboard did not have BT capabilities. I can't speak for the range, but it works in every room in my small apartment. Generally I just leave the phone on my desk and walk around with my headset on. WiFi gave me the same speeds as my wired connection, however my setup is right next to the router. Didn't need WiFi, but I installed the driver anyways because you never know it could save the day one day. Turned WiFi off in Windows until that day comes. If you are unfamiliar with computers, keep in mind any USB 2.0 header on your motherboard will suffice if you are unable to find anything labeled F_USB. ... show more

  • Powerful wi-fi card
Style: AX3000
I have my router down the hall in my living room (maybe 50-60 feet away) but I haven't had any issues with connection or speed at all. I installed the card and haven't had to give it a second thought.

  • Quick, easy, and fast
Style: AX3000 - Newer Model
Added wireless functionality to my desktop in just a few minutes. The speed and lag was about as good as you can get compared to Ethernet.

  • Fast as cable connect.
Style: AX3000 - Newer Model
At first I get only 300 to 400 but there are two different 5g for tribend router. Make sure you connect 5g - 2 or what ever supports 160 hz. So far so good. Hopefully last me long enough.
