They didn't pay attention to the fact that this is NOT a gigabit switch, it's 10/100, so if you are needing gigabit connectivity, it won't happen. The installation was "plug and play", meaning all that I had to do was plug in the cables everything just works. I have not seen any problems with my network or internet access since installing this TP-LINK switch. The computers perform as if they were still plugged directly into the router. I was crossing my fingers hoping that this would end the countless fights over the 1 ethernet cord in our living room... My prayers are answered! Even though I have whatever wi-fi plan that says you can have up to "200 devices connected" The gamers in the house insist that each console has to be connected directly to the router. All of our ports were full so I looked into a solution. I'm all about instant gratification, so I went straight to the store only to find the cheapest one was about $30. I was worried due to a couple negative reviews I read, but it is DEFINETLY working great here! Also great is its size, you can pretty much hide it anywhere! Make sure to purchase a ethernet to connect to the router though if you don't already have one as this is only the device and its power cord! ... show more

After reading many reviews for many splitters, I decided this could be the best fit for what we needed. We only needed a two port for a computer and a credit card machine. They are not easy to find and most have terrible reviews. I was pleased with how quickly it arrived, how compact it is, and how light weight it is. Since plugging everything in, I have not experienced any delays with the computer or the credit card machine. We still have two additional ports to utilise should we need them. Only con that I can see , and I very well could have not read it in the description, is that I had to get a small (6") Ethernet cable to hook the device to before hooking up the other two Ethernet cables. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this product. ... show more
