    • My favorite midrange earbuds

I have well over a dozen different models of earbuds, and these are my new favorite in the midrange category. These are pretty loaded for the money. They have multiple ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) modes, EQ control through the TOZO app (I use Android) with preset modes and customizable settings, a low-latency mode for gaming, and remote playback controls. You can even customize the touch controls! That's new to me with TOZO buds, and it's a really cool feature. Sound quality is excellent. They're obviously not going to compete high-end models like the TOZO Golden X1 (about 5x the price - my higher-end favorite with the best sound I've ever heard in earbuds), but you might be surprised by how good they are. I'm not an audiophile, and my sound comparisons are only intuitive - but these are way better than comparably-price earbuds from just a few years ago. They sound full and don't lack bass. The bass isn't overly boomy, and the sound is detailed throughout the frequency range. I've heard better, but I've also heard much, much worse. Again, I use them with memory foam earbud tips, which offer a good degree of sound isolation on their own, in addition to ANC - and IMO, are a critical upgrade for sound quality on any earbuds. Unless you can't use them for some reason, they are always worth the money. Battery life is good - quite long (easily all day) with ANC off, but about 4-6 hours with ANC on (and there's really no reason not to have it on, IMO). Recharging is quick (as with all my TOZO buds) and the case is extremely compact and seems durable. If I'm away from the house, I usually keep a backup pair like my TOZO E2 earbuds handy just in case I run out of power before I can get home and recharge. Not usually necessary to take those out unless I'm gone all day, though. Comfort is excellent. With the memory foam earbud tips (not included), there's nothing touching my ears other than the foam tips in the canals. The touch-sensitive area is easy to reach and quick to respond. Pause/play, forward/back, and volume controls are intuitive and don't take long to get accustomed to. Bluetooth range is good. I haven't tested it specifically, but these actually perform better than a couple of higher-end TOZO models I have that are just a couple of years old. I'm not sure if that's due to the Bluetooth version, the firmware, or something else - but I can leave my phone on the kitchen table and walk to the far end of my house (about 40' as the crow flies) without losing signal. Really the only drawback I can find - and this applies to all TOZO earbuds I own - is that the charging case doesn't accommodate the foam tips, so I have to remove those while charging. It's a quick extra step, but in my experience, it wears the tips down a little faster, and makes them easier to lose. Certainly not a dealbreaker, just a minor annoyance. All that said - it's still hard to believe the quality and features that you can get for this little money these days. I think you'll be thoroughly impressed. ... show more

    • My husband's new Tozo favorite! Excellent!

My household owns almost every Tozo product available on Amazon. Each one of us have our favorites when it comes to their products, and this model has quickly become my husband's favorite. They will likely become my favorites. I'm contemplating on buying a pair for myself, although I do not need another pair. I don't know if this is an upgrade of the NC-2s, but that's the model I am comparing it to. The model he was using the most prior to this purchase. We both love the fit, sound quality, really good noise canceling feature, ease of use, battery life, great on video/voice calls and reliability. They also don't randomly disconnect to any of the devices we have used them with. Great battery life and love that the charging box shows the percentage. He uses these during his commute. We talk daily on the phone for his drive home and these are EXCELLENT on calls. Many other models are really good overall, but sometimes are not as clear or reliable on voice/video calls. These excel there. I feel like these are Tozo's best overall model to date. I have never been a fan of the models with arms, but these have changed my mind because of how great they are in every other aspect. I normally say these are great for the price point when reviewing Tozo products, and while that holds true here, I would still say that if the price was significantly higher with this model. I own a pair of Beats and yet I rarely reach for them as I have discovered really great Tozo models. Their app can make your listening experience even better. There's one consistent part of all my Tozo reviews. That's the fact that they offer excellent customer service if you have any issues. I also find Tozo products as a whole to be reliable, durable and long lasting. My first Tozo purchase in 2017 or 18 was their T6s and they're still going strong today.
