I’m am I’m am so impressed with this little yellow skirt! I wear a size L/XL depending on the brand. I put this on immediately upon receipt. When I saw it out of the package, the color was just gorgeous; just the right shade of yellow to not be obnoxious. The fit is perfect. I have a gut. I’ve had three kids. I’m 56 so naturally I was worried about that area but when I put this on, it just melted over my body like “no problem”’. this skirt is very easy to dress up or down right now. I’m wearing it with a T-shirt and a sweatshirt over that and some sandals and it’s super cute. It’s adorable. I can also see dressing it up with a dressy top of some kind and with some heels, it’s not too tight because I got the extra extra large and they’re right when they say size up size up for sure I wear a large extra large and if I had gotten an extra large, it would’ve been too tight for my comfort. I can wear this to work with no problem. I’ll feel very comfortable. It’s not tight. It doesn’t make me self-conscious. It’s just perfect and the fabric is very comfortable. Like kinda like sweatshirt material but not quite. It’s just comfortable. The material is not see-through. I don’t feel like I have to wear something underneath it. I don’t even feel like I have to wear shape wear because it’s not super super tight to where it’s showing all my bulges maybe if I had to dress it up and my belly was showing that might be a different story but I don’t know. I’m not gonna take any chances on putting this in the washing machine. I am going to peobably hand wash it or put it in the washer on a very gentle cycle and then hang it to dry so that nothing happens to it. I have not read the instructions on how to take care of it, but that’s my plan. For now, I’m in love with it and I’m about to order a couple more colors!!! The Amazon picture doesn't do it justice - I can be picky & the brown in the image looked faded but the real thing is a perfect chocolate color. Nice material - not too thin and not too thick and I'm excited to wear it to work this week! Very flattering on those with curves- I'm 5"5' a 14/16 and the XL is absolutely perfect. I couldn't stop looking at it in the mirror - the price is unbelievable and I'm definitely getting it in at least 2 more colors! UPDATE 8/14/15: has become one of my favorite skirts and I also have it in magenta now (beautiful). decided to update my skirt pic because I have lost about 10 lbs since I bought it & now it looks even better on me! I will be buying more of these skirts... UPDATE 10/19/16: I now own this skirt in brown, black, charcoal grey and magenta and they are pretty much the only skirts I wear to work. great additions to my wardrobe - a year later and still no regrets! UPDATE 08/24/17: Still wearing these skirts on a regular basis - they have been through MANY machine washes and the colors are still as vibrant as the day I got them. I've never had to iron any of them and not one hole has appeared in the material or even a loose thread. I have added pics of me in the black & gray skirts - I've lost 40 more lbs in the last year so I'm giving away my XLs so I can order the skirts again in a smaller size. So, I am about 5’8” tall, and weigh around 190 lbs. I wear a size 10 jeans. I was back and forth about whether to order the size L or XL. I like my skirt to show the curves, but when I looked at pics showing reviews where they felt the large fit better, I noted that the skirt hugged the bum, all the way down. I decided to order and XL, and am SO glad I did. It fits perfectly, just slips on, with no buttons or zippers (I like that) and has a wide, super comfortable waistband. It fits firmly, without digging in, and nicely conforms to the TOP curve of my bum, and flows off the “bum cliff” just right. So it’s “business-appropriate, yet subtly sexy” I’d say. The best of both worlds. I feel if it were tighter, and hugged my arse all the way down, and through the thighs, it would no longer be appropriate for work, and would be more of a flagrantly sexy look. Which may be exactly what you want! But for me, the extra large was awesome. Nice, stretchy and substantial fabric that is fully opaque and work-friendly. Love it! I bought one in camel too! If you are thinking of creating a capsule wardrobe, get a skirt in these two colors and maybe a gray, and your work is done! ... show more

This is a very cute skirt and I get a lot of compliments. It hits at the knee (I'm 5'5") and it hugs the body. The only thing I don't like? It looses elasticity throughout the day and feels loose at the end of the night (it will tighten back up in the wash) and it's not enough elastic in it to "tuck" you in. I have worn skirts like this throughout my life and I've always had a bit of a belly since my 30s. Back then, the skirts had more elastic to keep you in. This doesn't.
