I did not really think I would get much out of a Bluetooth speaker compared to the sound quality of my iPad but I was very wrong. Build quality: very strong plastic, seems there may be some sort of cloth stitched over the small metal holes where the sound comes out of which I really think adds to the high quality feel and also just makes this speaker one that you want to use that much more. I don’t know formal terms but New feature on this year’s model is the vibrating bumpers on either end of the speaker that vibrate with increased bass sound. I really like this feature as it adds to the depth of the bass and just has a premium feel. User friendliness: this speaker stands up on its own with good stability on either end or can be placed on its side horizontally. No issues with it being in a certain position causing a problem or anything like that. Love that as soon as you turn the speaker on, it will auto connect to the last device that was connected. Have had a great time watching movies with this speaker on my iPad in bed. Battery life: charged this after 2 full movies, did not die on me though. Long battery life and charging cable included has the usb-c end that will plug into my phone’s outlet charger so I can use the same plug as my iphone.
