My first time with this chicken wire, and like it more than the steel wire mesh. They are not as sturdy and needs a stake to stay up, compared to the more sturdy steel wire mesh, but they don't cut my hands as bad when I forget to wear gloves to put them together for my vegetable gardens. This item was not as expected. It is not sturdy and low quality. You get what you pay for as you do get alot but not the quality. Next time i will pay for a local hardware store so i can see before buying.

I bought this for a DIY project. I needed about 30 ft. So I bought this product. I got the box quickly, the pkg was good. The product however was crinkled in the way it was rolled up, trying to unroll it and not stretch the chicken wire so that it could lay flat was impossible. I unrolled nearly half the roll trying to find a start point that would allow me straight non stretched chicken wire, and still was having the crinkling and stretching from the way it was rolled up and pkg. Briefly: The TOYPOPOR Chicken Wire 16'' x 396'' is thinner wire than the other I have. The diameter of the wire is .6 mm (a little thinner than 22 gauge) the other chicken wire I have is .8 mm (a little thinner than 20 gauge). It should not affect my project but some users might prefer a thicker and stronger fence material. It seems nicely made. I plan to put some stakes in the ground and attach the fencing with zip ties (burying it a couple of inches) and make a lid with a wooden frame and attach the chicken wire fencing (2 lengths) to make a removable top. It should make an enclosed area about 14" high x 4' wide x 5' long. ... show more
