We purchased this cooler in 2023. It has been amazing! We have taken it on 3 or 4 trips per year since buying it. We use it every day while on 3 to 4 week trips to beaches. We attend outdoor events like free concerts in our area and end up carrying chairs and a cooler with us. I got tired of trying to carry two chairs and a cooler over my shoulder, so I sought out a backpack cooler to make it easier to balance the load and also keep it from falling off of my shoulder while hauling everything. I first tried what I though would be a very durable product from Eddie Bauer. While it seemed to be well-constructed, it leaked like crazy and by the time the concert was over, it would be soaked (as would I, if I put it back on). I thought maybe I'd just gotten a defective one, so I exchanged it. That one leaked too. So I exchanged it again. That one leaked too. I gave up and returned it. Then I found this backpack cooler from TOURIT. Frankly after my experience at EB, I was expecting to be disappointed. I wasn't! It works great! I've used it several times and so far no leaks. It's well-constructed and half the cost of the model I'd tried before. The only criticism I have of it is that the bottom could be better insulated. It can get damp from condensation, which I don't think would happen if it were better insulated. The good news is that it's vinyl on bottom (not fabric), so it's easily wiped off and won't get you wet when you put it back on. Definitely recommended, especially for the price. I like that this is budget friends, the straps are padded and it is smaller in size compared to some. There is enough room to about 20 cans of beer/soda with ice. I am happy to say it keeps drink cold for hours but I mostly like that on a hot summer day after the ice melted, the water did not leak through. I have had some that did, and I ended up with a wet back and butt! The inside is very easy to clean with just a light soap, water and cloth. Bought specifically for a Disney trip because I know better than to walk into mouseland unprepared. Not only did this thing keep all of our food cold, it held 2 large freezer bricks, food, water (4 aluminum filter bottles) portable chargers, charging cords, sunscreen, cooling towels, fans, mini first aid kid, wallets AND phones, but the straps were insanely comfortable for the amount of weight we had in it! It has become my daily lunch box for work, my main grocery bag, and picnic bag. I've not been able to recommend a lot of bags because I'm usually rough on them so they wear out pretty fast, but this little thing is incredibly impressive. No loose strings, no leaking, actually I have to clean it pretty regularly because I'm really bad about cleaning out my coffee cup before throwing it in. On that bite it's stupid easy to clean. Wet one or lysol wipe to the interior usually does the trick. *edit* 5/4/24, may the 4th be with you. But also, with this cooler. This backpack is wonderful. We had one for years and lost it! We purchased another one because we can’t go to the beach without it. It keeps ice and drinks cold in the Caribbean sun for hours. Long story short our old one was returned. Now we have a backup!
