I bought 4 of these saw horses and am glad I did. They are well-made, durable, and each will hold up to 1,100 pound. They legs are folded inside the metal case with a handle on top. To unfold the legs, simply push the button on the exterior of the case, unfold the legs and lock them in place. To fold them back in the frame, unlock the cross bar and fold one leg at a time. I like the easy assembly, light weight, study, and easy storage of this product. This product is a little more expensive than some of the saw horses that I have purchased in the past; however, these are the best built and best quality that I have ever seen and are well-worth the price. I recommend these to family, friends, and others looking for heavy duty saw horses with a small footprint that makes them easy to grab and go to your worksite or store in your garage. Enjoy!

I'm very pleased with these sawhorses. I use them for cutting boards, of course, but I needed something to put my kayak on when working on it. These sawhorses fold up to 2.5" X 4.5" X 35.5" so they are easy to store. The legs fold out from the main body and lock into place. The top edge has some non-slip material to make it easier to saw wood. I have a 14' kayak that weighs 100 lbs. and it's stable on the 2 sawhorses. I'm adding a trolling motor to the kayak and this made the work very easy.

You get a solid working base for your projects with two of these multipurpose ToughBuilt sawhorses. They can be used as standalone support for projects like sanding and shellacking walking sticks – that need support only on the ends but an open middle space. The sawhorses can also be covered with a flat surface – like a piece of plywood – to create a working space bigger than a portable workbench. The lightweight, compact and collapsible design is this product’s best feature, but it does have limitations. When the slot-in-place-legs are extended, the metal ends are exposed. You’ll need to lay a drop cloth to protect the ends from marking the floor or sinking into the ground. The lack of protective end caps cancels out the convenience of this efficient design. It’s perfect for work on concrete and other nonporous surfaces. I ended up buying plastic, accordion-style sawhorses (that fold flat vertically vs this tucked-in horizontal design) to give me more options. Like hammers or screwdrivers, my feeling on sawhorses is that you can never have too many. If you invest in this design, backstop it with another option to give you flexibility depending on your work environment.

Comes completely assembled. All you do is unfold and lock the leg supports. It’s rated for a load of over 1,000 pounds. Don’t think I’d ever test it with that much weight. But far superior to the plastic folding saw horses from Black & Decker, etc.

Yesterday I received my long awaited saw horses and they were as described. Although the idea of putting 1,100 lbs weight on them I will leave to bolder buyers I have a large door that I am staining resting on the pair. They fold away nicely and and I am sure will last me for many years. However I do have one major complaint. They were badly packaged such that they had at some stage left the box as the end was torn open and retaped. This could have been in transport but loosely thrown into a box with something as weighty as these items is a prescription for disaster. One saw horse suvived intact, the other had damage to the end and the legs could not unfold. I managed to straighten the plate to make it functional. It is not worth the hassle to return but its a shame that with such sturdy saw horses are spoilt by such poor packaging.
