  • Finally, a Mic Stand That Doesn't Fold Under Pressure Like I Do
I finally decided to stop letting my desk look like a graveyard of mismatched equipment and grabbed this ultra low all-metal stand to bring some order to the chaos. Setting this thing up was so fast that I actually spent more time opening the box than I did putting the actual pieces together. It is a heavy little beast that feels like it could survive a small earthquake or at least my clumsy habit of knocking things over while reaching for coffee. I was a bit worried about whether it would play nice with my gear, but it works perfectly with both of my cheap generic microphones without any fussing or extra adapters (and this does include extra adapters also). The five inch height is exactly what I needed to keep my setup looking clean and professional instead of having a giant tower blocking my monitor. It holds its position without sliding around because the weight capacity is surprisingly beefy for such a small footprint. I love that I can just set it down and trust it won't do a slow-motion faceplant in the middle of a recording. The all-metal construction makes it feel much more expensive than it actually is, giving my budget mics a much-needed glow-up. I used this for a quick voiceover session and the stability meant I didn't have to deal with any of that annoying desk vibration noise. It is refreshing to find a piece of gear that does one job really well without requiring a PhD in engineering to assemble. This stand is the definition of small but mighty, and it has officially earned a permanent spot on my workspace. ... show more

  • Perfect size and stable
As a podcaster, I’m always looking for mic stands that stay exactly where I put them—and this AA Audio Accessory short desk stand absolutely delivers. The build quality is excellent. It’s all metal and feels solid right out of the box, with enough weight to keep it from sliding or tipping during recording. Once I position my mic, it stays put—no drifting, wobbling, or readjusting mid-session, which is exactly what I need. The low-profile, 5-inch adjustable height is perfect for desktop use. It keeps the mic stable without getting in the way or cluttering up my setup. Despite its compact size, it easily handles the weight of my microphone without any issues. Overall, this is a reliable, sturdy stand that does its job well. If you’re recording podcasts or any desk-based audio and want something simple that won’t move around, this is a great option. ... show more

  • Good quality, sturdy mic stand
This is a great mic stand if you need a stand for a mic that will be positioned on a table/desk directly in front of you. It comes with a wide, heavy base, which should help it resist tipping regardless of the mic attached, and there is an adjustable-height post that screws into it. At the top, you can attach different connectors depending on what is compatible with your microphone. This stand does not bend, so you’ll need to position yourself close enough to it. On the underside of the base, there are rubber feet, so you don’t have to worry about marring whatever surface you place this on. The stand isn’t cheap, but it is excellent quality, so as long as your mic is compatible and you understand the stand’s limitations, I think you’ll be very happy with its performance. ... show more

  • Sturdy, stable adjustable short microphone stand
This is a sturdy, stable short microphone stand made of brush metal. The base is fairly heavy, which means it can hold hefty microphones without tipping over. I've used this with a standard SM58 and a heavier shock mounted podcast condenser microphone. Both stayed nice and stable. The stand itself has an adjustable height, starting at a short 5 inches and extends up to 7.6 inches. I like that this can go so short, because it can be used on a desktop, or for mic'ing amplifiers and drum kits. The stand comes with various connectors that work with most standard microphone holders, and also included is a cable clip that you can attach to the stem of the mic stand. This is a very useful product. ... show more

  • Rock‑Solid Little Stand That Punches Above Its Size
This short mic stand from AA Audio Accessory turned out to be exactly what I needed. It’s compact, heavy, and genuinely stable—none of that wobbly, hollow feel you get with cheaper desktop stands. The all‑metal build gives it a reassuring sturdiness, and it easily supports heavier mics like the SM7B without any sagging or shifting. The ultra‑low height adjustment is perfect for desk setups, podcasting, or close‑mic’ing instruments. It stays where you put it, and the footprint is small enough that it doesn’t clutter your workspace. It’s one of those simple, well‑designed pieces of gear that just does its job flawlessly. For the price, the quality is outstanding. If you need a dependable low‑profile stand, this one is absolutely worth grabbing. ... show more

  • Solid stand for your mic
This is a very solid and well made mic stand for your desk. The base is weighted enough to keep a reasonably heavy microphone from tipping over. The stem extends from about 5 inches to about 7.5 inches in height to allow best placement. It comes with three different fixtures at the top including the most popular thread sizes, including 1/4-20. ... show more
