    • A must have
While I highly recommend Washlets (or the bidet seats) in general, the 350e has two features which you never knew you needed until you experience: night light and auto lid. The auto lid will save a lot of stress among couples. Of course, all the advanced washlet features are great too. This is the second one I purchased for the house, the first has been up and running for 3 years. One small complaint, the metal t-connector is notorious for leaking, you can either attempt to use cone washers or I suggest buying the newer plastic version Toto THU6234 WASHLET T-CONNECTOR - which is much simpler to use and does not leak.     • Wife says, "best thing you have ever bought!" - - - Dad says, "look - - no scorch marks!!"
It is easy to install, but the first one will take you an hour, by simply taking your time, following the instructions and watching the video. The 2nd one is very easy to install....only 3 tools needed: adjustable wrench, philips head and flat head screwdrivers! This eliminates uncomfortable, difficult reaching and hygiene related issues, if you have any physical limitations, gastro-intestinal conditions! Clearly is the most hygienic approach even if you are healthy. Traveling throughout Japan, I learned useful tips on bathing such as cleaning in the shower and soaking in the tub. Japan is the world leader in healthful bathing and this hydro electronic system uses e-Water (electrolyzed water used in hospital OR sterilization) to maintain a hygienic-centric internal system. The controls are easy and come with elegant magnetic base to mount OR simply leave nearby to reach. During this pandemic, the reduced use of toilet paper was noticeable. As always, when I buy 1 item that is very good, buying the 2nd is even better. Expensive but considering the glowing reviews in-house, I am planning to buy a 3rd and possibly 4th....not a "gift" item to anyone buy yourself and family. ... show more

    • Most expensive product on the market, and it arrived non-functional
To begin, installing the product was a mixed bag. Even having an existing TOTO toilet did not make this a sure fit. As the model we have has a full skirt, there was very little room to install the provided and necessary T adapter, and the attempts to fit it in that small space forced various threads on the connection points to strip, which then entailed buying a new toilet fill valve, and also a new connection hose from the feed to ensure those weren't stripped anymore. Additionally, since we were able to determine that the space available was going to be impossible to make all 3 connections without some form of miss-threading, we needed an alternate solution. In doing a ton of research on this problem, some people solved this by putting a conical washer in one of their connection points and then just forced their miss-threaded connections, but that is not an acceptable connection band-aid. So we ended up needing to get a "THU9090R Toilet Hose Extension 6” for TOTO - 7/8 Male To 7/8 Female Stainless Steel Extension" which is a very small, but potentially expensive adapter to extend your fill valve connection point out past that area so you can properly connect all the fittings. If you're having trouble getting the threads to connect on any of your connections, I highly suggest searching out that extension hose, and also look for the non-TOTO version, since they want to sell it for 50$ compared to the 12$ I was able to find here on Amazon for a generic option. Also, even with attempting to use the smallest connecting hoses possible, this creates a mess of hoses off to the side of the toilet. My wife was a little appalled, but at least for us, strategic placement of the shower curtain helped "hide" this from judging eyes, but if your bathroom layout is not exactly like ours, note that you might have a lot of arbitrarily lengths of hoses bowing out and around the right side (if sitting) of your toilet. But now we get into the real problem. 2 weeks after the delivery of the seat, finally troubleshooting all of the connection issues and waiting impatiently to receive all the additional parts needed, it finally installs easily (just like their video) and the wand doesn't function. Its clearly stuck and fails to not only extend but retract. It's in some sort of almost out position. And apparently is spraying, but within its sheath, and never extends, nor responds to any of the inputs from the remote control. So now I'm about to test out their Customer and Technical support, but I'm not holding my breath. I went into this expecting the highest quality product, as it's literally 3 times as expensive as all of its competing products, and it's been nothing but disappointment so far. This is our second one. The first lasted a little over 4 years before it succumbed to the ravages of our well water. I think I can fix it and then we'll have two of them. I put a filter on the new one so it should be fine.

Just what we needed in these times. Water pressure is great and adjustable. Always have heated water. The only issue was that the tube to connect to the tank was metal and had a slight drip, so we bought the plastic connecting house and that is not an issue any more. We had read that other people had this issue as well before we bought it, but we are experienced at updating our home. ... show more
