TOTO Nearest rh dual flush 1.0 or 0.8 gph toilet with integrated bidet seat and dewater+ is the pinnacle of bathroom technology and luxury. The TOTO Nearest rh comfort features begin as soon as you approach. The seat automatically opens hands-free to welcome you in while the nightlight will illuminate your path in the dark. An automatic Premist spray wets the toilet bowl surface before each use while the cefiontect ceramic glazing prohibits waste from sticking to the bowl. The combination of the Premist and the cefiontect minimize the frequency of cleaning which helps reduce the amount of chemicals required to clean the toilet. The heated seat has five seat-warming temperature settings that are especially useful during the cold of winter. An automatic air deodorizer activates to hide unpleasantries to create a more enjoyable experience. As your journey comes to a close, you can access the remote control and start the cleanse process. You are in TOTAL control as you select a front cleanse, soft rear cleanse, rear cleanse, Oscillating cleanse, pulsating cleanse, and customize the warmth and volume of the spray. You may also decide to select one of the two user memory settings to instantly dial in your preferences. The warm air dryer function has five temperature settings that can be used to reduce the moisture left behind after the cleaning process. The automatic flush will begin as soon as you rise with the powerful flushing 1G tornado flush system, to whisk away all evidence. Designed with a backup manual flush override in case of power outages or if manual operation is needed. An automatic ewater+ cleansing mist will spray the bowl with electrolyzed water to further aid in keeping the bowl clean. The Neorest RH toilet is comfortable and user friendly, in spite of all the options. I spent several hours researching various brands and models. Most of them had reliability and functional issues. I have been using the toilet for several days now, and it works flawlessly. I will update later if this changes. The flush mechanism is quiet, the lid and seat motor are quiet. Install: This requires a careful installation and the manual is designed for someone who is accustomed to installing these devices. Holes need to be drilled in the floor and there is no room for error. The water line needs specific placement and you will need a power circuit that can handle a 10 amp. load for just the toilet. The install is not for the ham-fisted. If you are not installing this yourself, be very careful in who you select to do the work. Pass on anyone who has not installed one of these before. This is not a standard toilet install. This took me several days because I had to remove tile from the wall, move the water line, run Romex, and create an outlet. There was also urine etching on the stone that I had to sand out. Expect to pay several hundred dollars for the install if not doing it yourself. My install would have cost a minimum of $1,500. Dislikes: I would prefer something a little more elegant than the plastic panels at the back covering the mechanicals. This is standard across the brands. The only way to get a full porcelain toilet is to upgrade to the $7,000 Toto. I couldn't because that is a much larger toilet that would look out of place in this small bathroom. I would prefer a lid that can be sat upon. We'll see how this works out long term. The cleansing wand is a plastic material. I would prefer stainless. Stainless can be had with other brands but then that is the trade off. For such a high end product, I don't understand why the cleansing wand is plastic. This toilet virtually eliminates the need for toilet paper. If you horded during the panic, that stuff is going to disintegrate before you use it. The remote is large but, laid out nicely. There is a three year warranty, and if the toilet is reliable, we will install it in the two other bathrooms. We have three inch copper waste lines and, I suspect, these toilets will significant reduce clogs due to lack of paper and the forceful flush. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very complex installation. If I wasn’t remodeling the bathroom and able to do all the prep according to instructions, would have needed to add much additional cost for plumber & electrician. Once water supply and outlet were installed correctly, installation wasn’t too bad. While it’s an investment, given the cost, I enjoy using it every time, love the bidet features, and the automatic lid and flushing are really cool. Not one thing annoys me about it after using it for a week, very happy with this model and look forward to years of service, which will help reduce some of its cost by using much less toilet paper. :) ... show more

Pros: This toilet will make your wife the happiest person on the block. Cons: Toilet needs to be installed in it's own closet within the bathroom, otherwise, if installed like a normal toilet, next to a sink/tub, it will automatically sense that since you are in the bathroom, it will open it's lid and prepare the toilet with a squirt of water, even if you're not there to "go". If you are a man, and not patient, you won't want to use the bidet mode. It sprays lots of water and you'll get very wet "down there" and "back there". The built-in dryer won't be sufficient to dry you in a few minutes. Closing up shop with a damp crotch is not an option, you will need to keep a hair dryer at the ready to finish what the toilet cannot do. Jock itch and crotch rot is a real thing. Use a hair dryer. Toto toilets flush themselves, they know when you're finished. Yes, you can trigger a courtesy flush while you're still sitting, but it will always flush when you get up and walk away, or in a man's case, while you are drying your crotch with a hairdryer. You may be inclined to go to the bathroom with a visitor to explain how your Toto toilet works. STOP, don't go there. Especially if that person is of the opposite sex. It's disgusting to explain how to go to the bathroom to another human. We purchased two Toto toilets three years ago. They both work as advertised. Be careful to follow the install instructions "before" having your bathroom roughed in. The plumbing and electrical must be followed to the "T". ... show more
