    • Very nice design. Very effective flushing.
I like the design of this so much that I bought a second. The plumber was unfamiliar with the installation but watching a video and reading instructions appeared to make it easy enough and I never heard any complaining! I've always disliked the pan with the pipework showing so the skirted toilet is always my first option. This particular model looks good but doesn't really have an avant-garde look that some other lesser brands have so it is perhaps a little disappointing for me. I just can't see the point in spending $10k plus on a toilet either as that doesn't validate me as a person. Of course the one piece is a little sleeker but when I needed a new one for my office this was not available in time. I find the Tornado design to be very effective and the surface finish together with the flushing works very well. I eat a very high fiber diet and this does produce more deposits to clear - sorry about this - but nothing seems to stick at all. Very impressive I think. I purchased a Kohler Corbelle which is a skirted model but has a similar but easier method of installation I think. However, I realize that although the Kohler is not bad it does not have the same flushing power even though it works in a similar way and does not seem to clean up after me as well as the Toto. Another important factor is that the Toto does not seem to splash at all when standing before it! The Kohler does to the point where I was beginning to suspect my own plumbing parts but I think the reason the Toto is not susceptible to the same problem must be to do with the shape of the bowl and the size of the water spot. All in all II find this to be a very good performer with inoffensive looks. As I am sure a lot of you will be using a bidet seat or Washlet note that there is an extra hole for the Toto Washlet+ models.. The Toto seat supplied is okay but nothing special ... show more

What I love about this toilet is that it takes less than a second to flash whereas traditional flashing takes at least few seconds. I have two teens who used to clog for whatever the reasons they have but so far so good. You can shop around this to get better price. Highly recommend it
