I purchased this toilet for my parents and installed it myself. They needed the extra seating height, but were concerned because their old toilet used more water for flushing. The Toto has a tornado flush system that uses much less water and still does a great job. Adequate would not be a strong enough word to describe, and we were pleasantly surprised at how effective the flushing system is. There were no issues with the installation. There was, however, one minor problem with the fill valve. Initially, the toilet was running and would not shut off, but there was a small plastic hose in the tank that was snagging the fill valve and keeping it from floating up to trigger the automated shutoff. I had contacted Toto, and they were prepared to send a fill valve replacement, but it was not needed. Still, their customer service was excellent. ... show more

Unfortunately for me, the plumbers that worked on my house placed the toilet flange only about 9.25 inches from the wall due to the interference of a joist. They had to fabricate a toilet with a tank from another source to fit into the space. I only discovered the fit issues when I attempted to replace the unit. In searching for toilets that would fit, I down loaded the drawing files for several of the 10 in rough in units that I found did not have sufficient rear wall clearance. This TOTO unit was the one that had the best chance of fitting, and in fact fit with 1/4 in space to the wall. The flush fitting tank cover was also a big help ... show more

This toilet bowl has a shelf in the commode area around the perimeter that helps with the flush, but keeps the excrement out of the water. Poor design. Furthermore when trying to return it i get the run around from both Amazon and the Seller. Poor service. I will never buy a toilet on line EVER again. ... show more

Have only had the toilet in for 2 days but absolutely love it! So far it appears to stay clean, the seat height is much better from the old toilet and the elongated bowl is much better than the round bowl that it replaces. I love the dual flush to help save water when applicable. This toilet is also much quieter than the old toilet was for flushing and filling. Overall very happy. ... show more

Unfortunately I needed a toilet with a 10” rough in and that limited my options. After doing some research I came across this on Amazon and figured why not? After a week of use my main issue with the toilet is that particles stick to the bowl! The inside of the bowl is very shallow as well. I was unfortunate to find out I needed a 9" rough in toilet. I even started grinding the concrete to make an offset flange fit flush. I took a chance and ordered this in Hope's I wouldn't need to install the offset flange. This toilet will fit a 9" rough in. I couldn't find a color matching affordable model. ... show more

The bowl is shallow. Pee will splash out. I tried to return it, but I have to pay for the shipping which cost as much as the product. Be warned.
