I've had to go to NYC a lot recently and have not found just the right rain gear (been through jackets, caps, capes, and regular umbrellas) -- until this child's umbrella. It's the perfect narrow fishbowl size to keep my head dry but still maneuver narrow and busy walkways, the clear dome lets me see all around me, and there are no pointy metal ends for me to mistakenly stick someone with as it goes up and down. Also, the shape of it meant that it didn't seem to catch the wind as much as the more common-shaped umbrellas. I really did not feel that I was fighting the wind at all when I was using it.
