2014 Ram Express. Gave this all 5 stars. Easy install for one person. Noise level as I expected (deeper than stock), and good price point for all the above. Squirt some WD40 or similar on your hangar to ease removal and install. I also used a rubber mallet to tap them with a 10 inch extension. Be aware there is an indent on factory pipes that you will want to ensure is lined up with the indent on the muffler. Do this to ensure your tips don't extend an inch or two past their original position. ... show more

    • Easy install. Clamps are garbage. Decent sound.
Installation took about 2 hours. Before you start, go buy 2-2.25” clamps and 1-3” clamp. You are going to need them. The clamps they provide are not that great and don’t fully seal the pipes. I used theirs closest to the front of the truck on each joint, and the purchased clamps towards the back of the truck on each joint. All are sealed up nicely now. My tailpipes ended up sitting about 3/4” back up under the truck than stock. That was the only way to get a good seal at the pipe joints. Sound is a little louder than I expected, but i like it. It doesn’t sound very good at low Rpms when the truck goes into “eco” mode, but that is a know issue with any exhaust on these trucks. You can disable “eco” by hitting the shift buttons when in drive. Set to 8 and eco goes away. Overall, a decent sounding muffler at a great price. If I were to do it over, I would have spent a little extra and got the Flowmasters. ... show more

Put it on my '17 Ram. Sounds like a Hemi now! Not to obnoxious. Great low throaty sound! Very satisfied 👍

    • The right amount of sound imo
I got the stainless steel one, it fit perfect, the supplied clamps worked perfect, everything lines up great. Idle volume is just enough to enjoy, but not enough to bother the neighbors, easy acceleration sounds perfect, nice deep tone, that's loud enough to appreciate the hemi tone, cruising at 50 and 70mph its quiet, 60mph there is a slight drone in the cab, but the radio has to be turned down low to hear. For me I give it a 10/10. I left the factory resonators in place, 2015 laramie with 3.92 gears and the 8 speed. ... show more

    • Almost great but not
1. "Direct fit" but not quite. A little too short. 2. They copied OEM slits, but there's basically not way to get the clamps to seal 3. Mine came w/ longer sleeve clamps vs. the thin OEM style clamps as advertsized which i hoped was a good thing, but they interfere w/ the OEM hangers. The only way they were able to be situated allowed slits/holes still showing (aka gaping hole / exhaust leak. 4. You can see water leak through pin holes all over the welds, i see several holes. 5. I don't want to waste my time removing and spending more money on big name alternatives, but had to tweak the installation 3 times to minimize leaking. The 3rd time i resorted to using some high temp sealant as an extra bandaide but.... 6. In hindsight - go for big name... i guess Magnaflow or Flowmaster. The extra $100 is probably worth better quality and time saved. 7. Sounds pretty good, and volume is just about right, maybe slightly louder then expecting. ... show more

    • Perfect sound level
I specifically chose this muffler due to the moderate sound and tone it has and i think it is a good middle ground. Not too aggressive. Unfortunatly it seems to be rusting very quickly from the inside without much use on it at all. I paid more for the rust resistant one and ive still had to add rust resistant paint to it after only a year. Not sure how many years it will last. Good price though. ... show more
