  • Fantastic
Packed nicely and in perfect condition. All the card to create your own workouts as well as several premade routines you can try out if that’s your thing. Each exercise numbered approximately so you can match it to a card for that specific body part. Also, a lot of reviews mentioned that it was unable to be mounted or the pins weren’t there. I did not have that problem. I have the Total Gym XLS model and the casing mounts perfectly on top of the machine. The rear side of the plastic case is to hold all the cards and the front side is open faced so you can reference your exercise if you need to. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. It’s helped me get my wife rolling with workouts I created for her and she can use the cards as references if I’m not home to assist her with it. ... show more

  • Card Deck comes with Wall Chart
I bought this deck to upgrade the exercise routines I have been using with my Total Gym purchased in the 90's. I love my Total Gym! It's the commercial version sold at the time, a step up from the home version. The card deck comes with the - this item is sold separately - so don't buy the wall chart with this set as I did. This item was not mentioned in the description and I thought I should point that out. This kit also includes everything you get with a new Total Gym including three pins (2 long, one short) the Getting Started booklet and a nutrition/diet booklet. More than I expected! The card deck contains the complete set of exercises for men and women and is included with new Total Gym purchases. They are to be used standalone, with the routine workouts found on the Total Gym website or with the Total Gym DVD's. Each card shows a picture and a written description of the exercise. They are easy to read, I found the older flip-page exercises easier to manage but you be the judge. The VHS tape I bought with the Total Gym (the 6-8 minute workout with John Carleo) is worn out and although I documented the routines, after a bit of time not using it, I have forgotten how to perform some of the exercises. The routine on the tape did not have many exercises that match the flip-card exercise manual I rec'd with the Total Gym. So I decided to upgrade my system to the latest version of the exercises, now featured in this deck. The workouts found on the Total Gym website match the exercises in the deck and the newer DVD workouts. I am looking forward to using the new routines for my workouts. Did I say I love my Total Gym yet? EDIT: added info about all the items in the box and a better description of card deck. ... show more

  • The cards and the plastic holder
This is what I was wanting, the cards and the holder, but after reading through the reviews it appears that the product included with this has consistently been inconsistent. I had hoped I’d been a luck one and got more for my money, but no. But as stated this is exactly as I needed for my Total Gym XLS, and it is now sitting on top of it. ... show more

  • A must if you own a Total gym or a Weider Ultimate body
For Christmas I got A Weider Ultimate Body Works and couldn't wait to start using it. One of my biggest criticisms of the Weider though is that it doesn't come with any workout guides. Yes, there are pictures of exercises you can do on the box but, that's it. I started looking online and found the Total Gym Training Deck along with the 6-8 minute workout instructions. As several other reviews have mentioned, you can use these cards with a Weider machine or even a Bayou Fitness Total Trainer. The cards are organized by the area of the body that you want to focus on and are numbered for easy reference. They give instructions on the proper way to perform the exercise along with a picture of someone showing the starting and finishing positions. In addition to the exercises there are recommendations for how many reps you should do if you are going for toning, weight loss, or strength training. The daily guides are included for the 6-8 minute workouts for men and women along with other workout routines. Although I haven't tried much more than the 6-8 minute routines at this point, I can see how you could easily design your own routines with these cards and there are enough of them that you shouldn't get bored anytime soon. I really can't speak to the utility of the card holder that comes with the cards because the Weider machine doesn't have a place to put it but, it does appear to be made of pretty heavy duty plastic. ... show more

  • More than I anticipated.. cards, charts, instructions and pins
I had got my Total Gym XL used and the old flip card thing was toast, also the hitch pins were missing (and the instructions too). I was mainly wanting this item for the training cards but you should be aware it comes with the exercise chart, two long and one short hitch pins, an XLS instruction manual, and the nutrition guide thing as well. Great deal for the price (and extra's of the long pins are not a bad thing to have as they are easy to loose). The cards also look great for seeing how to do the exercise (I don't always have time to watch the DVD and figure all the exercises out). ... show more
