Pleasantly surprised! The leather is soft, seems tough enough and not very thin. The assembly took about an hour or so- an electric screw driver would probably taken that down to about 20min. The telescoping hydraulic lift does not secure into the base nor the bottom of the seat, which is nice because it’s hard to get through hallways & staircases but if you lift the chair by the armrests it’ll just pop off. Heads up, though: it says “teen” gaming chair.. this is a massive chair. I should have known that by reading that it fits up to 400lbs, but I didn’t understand it was this massive. The photo.. my daughter is 13 and 5’ tall. Her feet don’t touch the ground even at the lowest position unless she makes an effort and can barely reach with her tip toes. Aside from posture reasons, that’s not idea because it tends to swivels very easily, so she’s constantly re-straightening herself at the desk. The highest the chair raises combined with the back height and chair width, and how high the armrests go up- it’s almost a little funny but if you’re an average to larger size adult it may be less comical. The armrests do go up fairly high which is a big plus - they can go over the top of the desk, while the seat is low enough for the monitor to be at eye level and elbows resting comfortably on the higher rests. It also stops the chair from spinning. The back rest is quite tall, the seat is wide. It reclines well (and sturdy!) pretty far back. The seat also angles back slightly to avoid slipping down or sliding out of the chair (which really helps when you have a chair/seat pillow). The hardware is very good quality as well. The padding and comfort is decent, not uncomfortable but it isn’t anything luxurious. It looks great. As long as you aren’t sliding in and out of the chair (rubbing on the leather repeatedly) I imagine it lasting quite a long while. Easily worth the regular price currently listed at $150 but an excellent Black Friday deal at $114. Only (minor) complaints: The wheels glide very easily, with little force and no locking feature. It’s comically huge for a child/teen/small adult. The photos don’t do it Justice! The hydraulic lift isn’t secure in place. Not very think or cushiony (but not really firm) seat/back. ... show more

i love this color and the price was amazing. everyone who’s selling this color of red sells it for $200+ i got so lucky finding this shade for just over $100 dollars. the quality of the material is amazing and all the features are smooth and elegant. it was easy to assemble for me and my bf. he loves it so much and says it super comfortable and it’s his favorite color too(as u can tell by his shirt) ... show more

All in all its not too bad. Im a big guy, which is why I got a 400lb chair (I am 300), so it is a little snug on the hips but otherwise its ok.

I liked that it was a chair, and it has those added pads on the back. What I disliked was how uncomfortable it is. I dislike that you can’t lock it when you lean it back. The locking mechanism exists but doesn’t function. The seating on top isn’t comfortable at all. I was looking for a nice chair and had $150 to spend. Had I not already thrown out m old chair I would have refunded this one. It’s uncomfortable to sit in for longer than 30min, maybe I go a dud but the seat itself is the worst. Idk about other people here, I got this chair because it was one of the ones recommended for heavy people. I used to weigh 336lb and no weigh 278lb. Even so, this chair is uncomfortable. It leans forward and there’s no way to fix it either. You just have to constantly push up with your feet from the ground to get an even sitting position. I would not recommend this at all, unless you’re just throwing money at anything online. I would save some money and look for a chair elsewhere. ... show more

The chair is comfortable for a bigger man but the seat tips forward. When I sit in it the front leans forward and downward. I have to station my legs on the bottom of my desk to keep the chair upright. Would not buy another one. *update* was carrying my chair back into my man cave and something clicked. The seat isn’t as soft or plush as I’d like and the adjustable seat height (nor the adjuster for the armrests) isn’t as high as I’d like. I just got and assembled this today, so I’ll give it a few before I decide if I like or dislike it Update: I’m returning this.
