This is the 2nd TV I’ve bought through Amazon, this one being a Toshiba. Aside from these 2 all of the other TVs I’ve purchased over the past 17 years or so have been Samsung. I decided to try this Toshiba for a number of reasons, one obviously being a great sales price during Prime Day. But also based on previous experiences I’ve had with other type of Toshiba products over the years which have been nothing but positive. As I researched this TV, I did see some mixed reviews regarding signal loss and such but again, based on sales price and Toshiba’s reputation, I took a chance. Thus far both my wife and I are extremely pleased with this purchase. The setup was super easy, the picture quality and sound are outstanding and ask nothing of the other Samsung TVs we have in the house which we bought at much higher price points. I have not experienced any signal cutout or blank screen as some of the reviews noted. Also one thing that we have noticed and we’re very happy about is the speed in switching or loading apps. Don’t get me wrong, this is no Hot Rod but it’s definitely faster than all of our Samsungs which was a nice unexpected perk. I love Samsung and I’m sure I will purchase their TVs again in the future but I am impressed with this Toshiba TV’s performance and thus will not hesitate to purchase again in the future. The only drawback we feel is that it is a bit on the heavy side, much more than our 65”…. but it is a larger TV. Oh almost forgot, delivery was through Best Buy which was an easy process AND they brought it in all the way to where I wanted to set it up…. HUGE PLUS!!

picture great, sound is actually really good. Unless you were going to go with a full blown sound setup, I don't know that you would need any separate speakers. Operating system is better than most I've dealt with, though still not as fast or smooth as a phone or computer.

The media could not be loaded. I thought i was in the clear. I thought $200, MEH…. And it worked pretty good. But AMAZON, is BLOCKING, EVERY MOVIE I OWN… and making it CRAP, so ill RENT FROM THEM… with ONLY THE MOVIES I OWN… ill upload videos… im a developer, this isnt an accident, or a “random thing” that happens. Unless THEY ARE WATCHING WHAT WE OWN, for NO REASON AT ALL, well then WHY did your app, READ SO MUCH… in my files to operate… EXACTLY… DONT BY ALEXA/AMAZON(EVEN BY OTHER BRANDS… SMART OK, NOT ALEXA….) TV’s… BUY NON “ALEXA” so Amazon cant gatekeep your oen purchases and SUCK UP all your personal info…. THEY ARE NOT SAFE… all the 3rd party connections to apps that DONT WORK and cust service is only there to keep you from help… dont do it… Update: its ALSO seems to hang and is getting slower. And ill add a picture it keeps popping OPTIONS UP ON THE SCREEN YOU CANT GET OFF WHILE TRYING TO WATCH A BIG TV SCREEN… with “WATCH WITH XRAY” ligting up the entire length of the screen for HALF THE SHOW!!! And took tons of steps to NEVER find a way to remove it from the screen… KEEPS HAPPENING FFS!!! I am starting to HATE ANYTHING AMAZON/ALEXA.. my devices are the DUMBEST “SMART” devices its CRAZY…

My wife bought this for me for Father's Day so we could finally have a TV in our bedroom. It's a bit bigger than we needed for our space but it fits perfectly where we put it. The sound on this TV is really good for a $300 TV and the picture is amazingggg. While I won't go into the other specs or features of the TV, I will say the one thing that keeps this TV from being truly great is the lag time between pressing the remote buttons and the TV responding
