I bought this battery to supplement the battery that came with my lawn mower. What I didn’t realize is that this battery is actually a higher capacity battery. And what a battery! The one that came with my lawn mower would die after I had cut half the back yard (for reference, my back yard is approximately 500 sqft). Now that did include patches of high weeds due to week long showers. This battery cut the whole back yard without breaking a sweat. When I plugged it into the charger , it still had 1/2 charge. Really needed this winter. I have the Toro snow blower now for 3rd season. I can usually do my driveway and side walks and neighbors on each side of me. This year after huge storm I ran out of juice with the 7.5 ah battery that came with snow blower. I bought this 10 ah on sale. This battery requires 5 hours to charge on the standard 2-amp charger that comes with some equipment. You only get a 50 min charge time on the 6-pod 12-amp charger that is more for a commercial operation. Even the rapid 5.4-amp charger requires 120 min.
