This battery requires 5 hours to charge on the standard 2-amp charger that comes with some equipment. You only get a 50 min charge time on the 6-pod 12-amp charger that is more for a commercial operation. Even the rapid 5.4-amp charger requires 120 min. The item was delivered on time, and in good condition. This is a 2nd battery for a Toro snowblower, to allow for longer snow blowing. Manufacturers of battery run products have their own unique battery. It allows them to charge more. I had bought a small .7 kwh power station for less than this battery, which is only .5 kwh (10.0Ah). Fortunately I found this seller having a discount. It seems like brand name batteries are generally higher quality than generic. Once I bought 3 small generic batteries for a drill, and 1 of them stopped charging after only a few uses. I didnt want to gamble with a generic battery for this size, and got this brand name Toro battery. Five stars if not for the cost. Its expensive, even on sale. Have not used it yet, but it took a charge when it arrived. ... show more

The handle completely broke after being used twice for only a little over a month. It is still usable, but extremely difficult to remove from the snowblower's battery compartment. Clearly defective and not returnable.
