  • Significant upgrade over stock headlights on my vintage 4x4
Color: black
I installed on a 1977 International Scout. I did have to slightly modify the OEM can bases that hold the sealed beams to accommodate these larger, bulkier headlights. Nothing a few minutes with a jig saw and Dremel can’t handle. Otherwise these fit well and did not interfere with full aim adjustment. I’d bet therefore these could fit GM, Ford, other US vehicles of that era with similar can bases. These are twice as bright and at 36 watts low beam, 39 high they pull ~ half the power of traditional incandescent filament sealed beams. Big difference! The DRLs are primary reason I bought these. They are very bright (almost too bright?). I don’t intend to use the amber turn signal feature. The pigtails for these 2 connections do seem kinda dinky. The lights overall seem to be very well built. Feel like quality. Time will tell. They shipped in a very nice padded box with items nestled in high density foam. Good marketing or a good sign of some level of quality? Don’t know but I took that as possible good quality. They are made in China. In my case the removable vent caps are not useful as the rear of these units are just not accessible (in my 4x4) without removal. I do worry about rock chip damage. If one fails or is damaged I’d have to buy another set of 2. Will these things even be around then?? Not going down to auto parts store to pickup a replacement :-( I’ll consider a wire grill style headlight guard once popular in days gone by. Warranty??? Not at all clear how to register or pursue a claim. FYI. Other reviews indicate good support from vendor. Note I did contact/email Torchbeam for some info and was impressed with a very quick response. ... show more

  • Great product, blown away at the brightness. Stop suffering with Halo!
Color: black
These are great, install is a bit more complicated if you don't have a model with DRL. Had to run a wire through the firewall and into the passenger compartment fuse panel, but honestly worth the hours work. They look great! Make sure aim these properly, they are SO bright! On a lifted TJ I still get people flashing me all the time who think I'm running high beams, when I'm not! ... show more

  • The Best Bang for Your Buck
Color: black
Had these lights installed in my ‘99 Wrangler. They look great and are super bright! They were easy to install and are a perfect fit. The only issue I had with them was wiring up the turn signal/drl. If you aren’t familiar with electrical stuff, I’d recommend looking up some examples on YouTube. The installation manual was kind of vague on how to properly hook them up. Overall, I’d recommend these lights to anyone looking to upgrade. I absolutely love them. Featured picture: Torchbeam vs original headlights. ... show more

  • Almost a perfect fit on '07 JKU
Color: black
The lamps work fine, and iould definitely buy them again. However, they are not a perfect fit at least for me. I had to modify the alignment slots on the headlamp buckets for the lamp to seat properly.

  • Low Cost, High Brightness!!!
Color: black
First, please make sure you have a basic understanding of how to install headlamps. If you do, or know how to access YouTube, this is a simple and quick install! I bought additional anti flicker assembly as these lamps DO NOT come with anti flicker switch. Once installed, Lights on, and I was getting bright lighted a couple of times. They light it up big time!!! I couldn’t be applied, and the signal light part is just cool! A lot of compliments! Worth the money, worth the time, looks killer!!! Cheers!!! ... show more

  • So far I'm impressed. (Will update after a few months)
Color: black
Got these for my 2000 TJ Wrangler. So far I'm fairly impressed. Very clean looking, bright , easy install and sturdy. The smaller light is the head light and the larger one is the High beam. The two small rectangular lights only come on when the head light or the high beam is on. The outer ring you have to wire into the parking lights. Very easy to do. The outer ring is white when the parking lights is on and turns amber when your turn signal is on. ... show more

  • Ok but low beam turns off when high beam was activated
Color: black
Put these on the old disco because I love my 5x4s on my 1st Gen 4 runner. Unfortunately the low beams turn off when the high beams are turned on. Just for kicks I set up wiring harness and hooked it directly up to a spare battery on my floor. Took out a spare set of 5x4 LEDs that work about the same with drl and turn signal built in. Lows stay on when high beam gets POS. Same wiring harness 3 prong connector... typical Chinese led aftermarket headlights. Tried both round headlights no go. I'll be replacing the immedr. ... show more

  • Nice JKU lights
Color: black
Great value for great looking halo lights. Not plug n play. There’s an adapter that comes with these lights for the high/low beams that are plug n play but the DRL Halos & turn signal have to be spliced into the existing turn signal wiring to work. Took a little time to get it right. Use YouTube if your not experienced and need some DIY instructions. I did it different. I cut off the 2 female ends and used 4 quick connects(2 on each side) for my connections and then wrapped them up with electrical tape to waterproof some. Also use a zip tie on your main adapter to Jeep connect bc mine came loose and I had to take my grille back off and pull the light to reconnect. Not fun when you think your finally wrapping up lol. Overall very happy with these lights. Tools needed- small flat head screw driver, T10 screw driver tool (to remove headlight bracket screws), razor blade, wire splice tool(optional), electrical tape, 2-4 mini zip ties, 4 quick connects, & just a little patience:) ... show more
