Love this water bottle for my three year old. The straw goes down to prevent spills and he is able to open it himself. My two year old nephew kept trying to steal it from my son so I had to order him one as well!! And they come with such cute little stickers and keep the water cold all day!

    • It is surving a Preschooler
We've had this cup for a bit now so I feel comfortable writing an accurate review. I bought this for my 4-year old to replace the plastic spill proof cups we had been using. My kids are hard on their cups and have broken so many of the plastic ones I decided to go for metal this time. This cup has been dropped, banged on doors (not intentionally just running around with it and running into things), kicked (same), and banged on my metal water bottle probably over 100 times at this point and still looks mostly brand new. The only things that show the abuse is a small scuff on the design and a small flake in the plastic spout from her chewing on it. She loves the design which is a huge bonus. It's also super easy to clean which is important to me as I have tossed sippy cups for being too difficult to clean and weren't worth the hassle. I'm not going to say it's completely spill proof though if the cup is full you can turn it upside down and shake it to get water out or sit it sideways and it will leak until the water level is below the straw. The only downside we have run into is she keeps forgetting it has a straw and gets frustrated when tipping it upsidedown doesn't work when it's only half full. ... show more

    • Toddlers are rough on their things
I bought this for my toddler for daycare. We've been through many different water bottles! Pros -leak proof IF the spout is all the way closed. Admittedly there are many times i forget to close it all the way. -Does keep drinks cool! -My toddler loves the design -It came with many stickers that i could write his name on. a MUST for daycare. Cons -The spout hinges to open and close. Sand has managed to get in that tiny space and is eating that plastic every time its opened or closed, and for the life of me i cannot figure out how to clean it out. no amount of soaking, washing, dishwashing is helping. -My toddler is rough on his things (as most children, and adults, can be), and the design does chip off fairly quick. We've had it for 3 months and the bottom is completely silver. all in all, it works for what i need! I dont know if i can buy replacement tops for it, but i will need that at some point. When all the design is gone too, my toddler will probably like something new, and we can cover it in stickers at that point. ... show more

We got this for my toddler since he’s way past sippy cup stage. He love it. It only leaks when the straw is left open. Perfect size for a 2 year old. Keeps ice overnight which is nice, longer if the straw is closed. Great quality per usual with Iron Flask. The only con is that the design has rubbed off a month later, not a big deal but now it looks funny. ... show more

Keeps drinks cold most of the day. Usually some ice left when kids get home. Have held up well to dishwasher over a year and at least a few washes a week.

    • My 2 year loves this water bottle
My son loves trucks and this design did not disappoint. Keeps water cold for hours and is the perfect size for his lunch box at daycare. Affordable and does exactly what the more expensive brands do. Unless he is holding it upside down and the straw is open, we haven't had any leaking issues.
