I wanted to give this less stars because the photos makes this look like ones that are advertised as about 3 inches thick and this is just not like pictured, I measured and the bevel side is 2 inches. The pictures make this look thicker and with more filling that the actual case. After sleeping on it for a week or two, it does make my bed somewhat more comfortable, but was disappointed at first. Keep in mind that this is going to be more like a thick loosely filled comforter and maybe you won't be disappointed as I was. I hoped that this would have more filling and be somewhat more supportive but that is not the case. My mind was boggled by looking at the huge amount of these on offer, and thought I ordered one with cotton fabric--but this is not, but fabric is nice, it looks nice and seems to be well constructed. Cooling? I did not believe any of these would deliver on this "cooling" claim, so was not disappointed in that I do not notice any "cooling" going on, but do not notice it being very hot to sleep on in summer which is what I worried about with memory foam. My bed (purchased in 2020 during early days of pandemic also from Amazon) is in pretty good shape still, just never has been as comfortable as I liked, it is too firm, and have been using two of those cheap foam sheets. This is certainly better than that. My problem was pressure points especially on my hips and after a few days I did notice that was less of an issue. If your mattress however is in bad shape with sagging etc.--this is a lot of money to spend for something that I don't think will really help. I put this thing in the dryer on low or just air for hours when I first got it, and even then it did not fully fluff up for a couple of days. I don't even know how I would be able to send this back because of the size after it gains its shape--but I'm keeping it because it is pretty comfortable to sleep on, wish it had more filling but it is good enough so will just keep it. ... show more

This was’t near as puffy as I expected it to be. That said, I bought a very firm mattress a few months ago and it was putting pressure on my body. This does take the pressure off noticeably. This has upgraded the feeling of my mattress. It’s like sleeping on a cloud and I’m sleeping more through the night. Waking up has been different these days and in a good way. Only little downside (which is a warning in the instructions) is that it can feel warm due to its thickness. It’s not too bad though if you sleep with a fan and/or AC. Our mattress is a little bit too firm and the topper has added the right amount of fluffiness to make it comfortable for us. We are also both pretty hot sleepers and noticed that this seems to diffuse the heat and make sleeping less sweaty compared to just our mattress. We opted to fluff it up in the dryer after we opened up the vacuum packed bag and noticed that it continued to fluff up during the 24 hours after opening. As far as being a comfy mattress topper, it's great! DON'T dry it in the dryer (even tho it says low heat dry on tag)--the mesh melted when I did it, even though I checked on it. It makes a big difference! We recently bought a nice memory foam mattress, but it was more on the firm side for me, soft for my husband since he is heavier then me, but a bit too firm for me. I was so disspointed tossing and turning all night, not to mention the perimenopausal hot flashes. Had this topper about week, and I have to share this with others. It is GREAT!!! Wow. I sleep much better. I was worried that it would be to soft for my husband, but I didn't tell him the first night I put it on and he couldn't even tell😅 but it made a world of difference for me! Mattress feels amazing now. Feels like the hotel mattresses. The combination of the foam mattress and the topper👌 Perfect! However, it is not as thick as on the picture, it looks more like 'Others' then 'Ours' haha😅 if you looked at the pictures, so don't get discouraged when you unpackage it... but it really doesn't matter because it is sooo comfortable. If you are looking for that extra softnes and comfort, don't look further, this is amazing, and it really keeps you COOL too, that is a big plus. Just great. So happy I chose this one. Love the mattress topper. It's for the foldout bed so wanted to make sure something thick with those thin mattresses. It works perfect. It can be left on when closing, so not to thick. I've washed it 3 times since I've had it and still in good condition. Not bad for the price either.
