We have slept on this topper for two nights. I am a restless sleeper and so far that hasn’t changed. I get hot during the night and this didn’t cool me. However, when we get into bed this is nice and cozy and comfortable. It came rock hard, but I shook it the first day and had help shaking it the second day before I put it on the bed. This mattress topper is a lifesaver. My foam bed does not allow any airflow between the body and the bed, meaning hot nights and poor sleep. The thickness and fabric of this topper allows for a separation between the body and the mattress, allowing airflow. My nights are now much cooler and much more comfortable. Allowing for cooler sleep, especially during the summer months, has been life saving. I wanted to give this less stars because the photos makes this look like ones that are advertised as about 3 inches thick and this is just not like pictured, I measured and the bevel side is 2 inches. The pictures make this look thicker and with more filling that the actual case. After sleeping on it for a week or two, it does make my bed somewhat more comfortable, but was disappointed at first. Keep in mind that this is going to be more like a thick loosely filled comforter and maybe you won't be disappointed as I was. I hoped that this would have more filling and be somewhat more supportive but that is not the case. My mind was boggled by looking at the huge amount of these on offer, and thought I ordered one with cotton fabric--but this is not, but fabric is nice, it looks nice and seems to be well constructed. Cooling? I did not believe any of these would deliver on this "cooling" claim, so was not disappointed in that I do not notice any "cooling" going on, but do not notice it being very hot to sleep on in summer which is what I worried about with memory foam. My bed (purchased in 2020 during early days of pandemic also from Amazon) is in pretty good shape still, just never has been as comfortable as I liked, it is too firm, and have been using two of those cheap foam sheets. This is certainly better than that. My problem was pressure points especially on my hips and after a few days I did notice that was less of an issue. If your mattress however is in bad shape with sagging etc.--this is a lot of money to spend for something that I don't think will really help. I put this thing in the dryer on low or just air for hours when I first got it, and even then it did not fully fluff up for a couple of days. I don't even know how I would be able to send this back because of the size after it gains its shape--but I'm keeping it because it is pretty comfortable to sleep on, wish it had more filling but it is good enough so will just keep it. ... show more

Don't look at negative reviews! This is exactly what it says, a thin quilted mattress topper. It is not a thick foam or thick quilt. If you're needing just a little softer bed without the thick foam this is for you! I gave only 4 stars because it could have a little more padding.
