The 51-inch model weighs 110 lbs, while the 56-inch model weighs 136 lbs. Both measure approximately 4.9 inches when closed, helping maintain a compact rooftop profile between trips. When closed, the aluminum hard shell surrounds the folded tent with a rigid exterior layer, helping protect your setup while parked or on the road. Galaxy Light combines blackout fabric, a skylight, ventilation, LED lighting, a heater port, and Anderson power connectivity in a lightweight, low-profile design for comfort and utility at camp. What dynamic load rating is required? Your vehicle and roof-rack system must have a dynamic load rating that meets or exceeds the tent weight: 110 lbs for the 51-inch model or 136 lbs for the 56-inch model. What crossbar spacing is required? Vehicle Roof Crossbars must be spaced 30 to 60 inches apart. How much mounting width is needed? Confirm that your roof-rack setup provides at least 33 inches of usable mounting width. Will the included mounting kit fit every crossbar? Crossbar shape and dimensions vary.
