I really like these pillow covers so far! I love the simple, yet nice-looking wide corduroy stripes pattern and the material is pretty soft too. The zippered slot for inserting your pillow is located about a third of the way in on one side of the cover, and is neatly concealed by an inconspicuous flap of the same material. Honestly takes a second to find it. I greatly prefer this over the zipper-along-the-edge style My initial thoughts were a bit skeptical due to two things: One, the inside of the plastic package was literally stained the color of the pillow cover so I really wondered if I'd have issues with my clothing or the couch itself, but after a month have not seen any color transfer whatsoever so I think I'm in the clear there. My second concern is that these covers *are* indeed pretty thin. They feel as thin as the ones they're replacing (which needed replacing because the material basically shredded itself apart. Throw pillows at my house actually get thrown, so durability is definitely a huge must-have. It's been a month and the covers are holding up well. Only time can tell - but as the title of my review says: so far so good! If these do end up prematurely shredding in the future, I'll try and come back to update the review (My personal "Vine Reviewer" mantra: I never receive items I don't fully intend on using personally. I don't review an item until I've *actually* tried to use it and always attempt to give what I believe to be a full and fair evaluation. These pillow covers fit well and are made from a soft sturdy fabric. The stitching is well done and sturdy, so there is no fear of it coming undone. So far, there has been no shedding of the fabric, and even with kids throwing them around, they maintain their softness. Finally, the closure is strong and holds well! *update* 1 week later and now they are shredding themselves. The most strenuous thing they've been put through is being leaned on,, as they're intended. Would not recommend. The colors are exactly as described. They are soft, but the covers aren't built to last. Good if you intent to switch them out for the seasons. ... show more
