We got the beige curtains, and I installed them over a sliding door. They look very nice. I over-estimated how long it would take me to get these up :). There are two installation methods: the back top of the curtains has fabric loops, about 4 or 5 inches long; you simply slide the curtain rod through these. Couldn't be simpler, and it looks nice. Of course this only works if your curtain rod is at the right height. I was putting up the rod, too, so it was easy enough to get it right. But I decided to try the other hanging method as well. This uses two-pronged plastic clips about 5 inches long, one prong of which slides up into the back of a pleat (I didn't think there was a place to slide them in at first, but there is!). The other prong supports the back of the curtain pleat, and has a slider that the rings hook onto. The slider allows you to adjust the height of the curtain. (You can't do that with the fabric loops.) The slider will only move in one direction--down--but if you get it too far down, just pull it the rest of the way down and it slips off the prong, then start it back at the top. You could use a short ruler to make sure all the sliders are in the same position up-and-down, but I instead counted the number of notches below each slider to get them the same. You can do this adjustment before or after attaching the clip to the curtain; I adjusted it on the curtain for the first pleat, so the bottom of the curtain was an inch or two above the floor, then took the curtain back down to attach the rest of the clips (easier on my arms). The rings are like a little tiny 'o' (maybe 1/3" across) attached to a big 'O' (a couple inches in diameter). The little ring attaches to the slider, while the curtain rod goes through the big ring--this is probably obvious, but I put the big ring on the slider at first... Recommended.
