Had to cut the silver steel bars as there was way to much slack affecting clearance. 10 minutes in the garage with a hacksaw, and success. The rack is very stable, I like the matte black. I got the topeak bag for it as well. Pairs nice.

This is the second of these racks I have acquired. The first was pretty awesome when paired with a trunk bag. (Wish there was a trunk bag with a cooler option to safely hold food/drinks and keeping them cool and leak-free) This second one has improved. They included rear reflector/light mounting hardware which is new to me. My first one did not include these things. Very nice. I bought this for a mountain bike so I could carry tire tubes, tools, inflators and a ulock and a cable. The bag that fits the attachment on the rack has lots of room. It's easy to clip on and off the track and latch. The rack is easy to install on my aluminum bike. You can't use one on a carbon fiber bike. ... show more

I bought this disc-mount modification of the Topeak rack because my hybrid bike has disc breaks (and regular 700 mm wheels). The only difference from the regular Topeak model is that this one has the frame that is about 2 inches wider (the top is the same). But why does the frame have to be wider - the regular-mount model still fits perfectly despite disc brakes. Extra width is a disadvantage in my opinion.
