The lil house is standing up to this lovely blizzard we are having outside now. I had to tie it to a small pallet to keep it in place but it’s not breaking up I’m the wind and with snow. The heating pad seems ok. I’m not sure the little plastic flaps on the doors do a lot but it’s a nice touch.

There’s a stray cat living in our empty barn so we got him this house to hideout in during cold midwestern winter nights. It’s only been a week, but the warming pad provides consistent gentle heat. The structure folds together using Velcro strips on the edges and it is also holding up well. There are plastic “drapes” for the two openings, but we removed because they seem to hinder access. Kitty loves his house. He got right in and immediately claimed it. The medium is large enough for 2 big cats over 10lbs each. Of course one doesn't want to share so I'm going to purchase another simply due to that. My younger Kitty isn't the sharing type with anything and I figured that would more than likely happen lol. If you don't have a kitty with that type of personality however the medium would be perfect for 2 cats and actually they would stay even warmer bundling up together inside. The house is adorable. I am so happy with the quality of this product! My mom LOVES how sturdy it is. And the pups refuse to leave the inside! It doesn’t get dangerously hot but rather a nice warm that’s safe for all animals! I’ll be ordering again!

I was looking for a house for the neighborhood cat. I wanted something that had 2 openings so he wouldn't feel trapped and would actually use it. I have a covered porch so I didn't have to worry too much about it getting wet. It was very easy to assemble and I was glad the plastic strips across the doors are Velcro and easy to remove as he did not like the ones on the front. Once I removed them he went inside. The heating pad works well. It doesn't get too hot and seems to keep him pretty comfortable. The only thing I wish is that the pad was softer, but I guess then the heat wouldn't get through as easily. He doesn't seem to mind at all. I'm guessing he really likes his house because although he wanders throughout the day, he always returns to his house to sleep. I do believe this house would be somewhat weather resistant, but I'm not sure it would be in any kind of serious rain or snow. It should be used in a covered area I would think. I would buy this again if I needed a second house. It seems to fit the bill . ... show more
