    • OK for my purpose
First, if you're looking for a bargain, this probably isn't it. I guess I'm living in the past, but paying $1 each for 2.25 oz rolls is ridiculous. (Admittedly, I could have bought a larger box much cheaper from the Candy Store, but I was in a time crunch and needed them quickly, and I didn't need nearly that many.) So....my plan was to use them to build an edible miniature log cabin (I'd tried pretzel rods, and that didn't work well). The Tootsie rolls worked OK, and it was possible to cut them in order to leave an open door and window. Decorator frosting held them together. I kept the cabin refrigerated because the Tootsie Rolls were somewhat sticky at room temperature. Anyway, I have a lot of Tootsie Rolls left over and probably will give them out for Halloween. I don't eat them, for fear of losing a tooth filling or cap! ... show more

Tootsie rolls arrived quickly and packaged perfectly. Each one tasted great and was fresh, unlike when buying from stores when they are stale and hard. Would highly recommend buying these. And the price was great compared to paying $3 locally, for one bar. I had to have the wife hide the package, otherwise, I would have eaten the whole package in a week or less.
