I grabbed these to label my plant ID stakes, and they’ve been fantastic. We had a huge rainstorm roll through and every bit of writing stayed crisp and clear. No fading, no smudging, just a quick wipe to remove the rain splatter and they looked freshly written. I’m a big fan of oil‑based markers in general, and these are easily some of the smoothest I’ve used. The ink flows evenly without pooling, the colors are bold, and the caps snap on tight so they don’t dry out. They're easy to use, durable and can be used on many things. I was wanting to try it out with a paper project I've been working with. Even with the higher quality paper the paint marker tends to feather just slightly. It won't be good for the project I fear. You can write just fine with the markers but there's better tools for writing on paper. For general writing on paper the pen didn't give the line I was looking for either. I just didn't like the looks. Plus I was printing a light outline onto the paper first and had hoped that the acrylic paint would have covered the paper better it didn't. When I've used oil based paint markers I didn't have this problem. It was quick and easy to get the paint to flow through the pen though. It was no time before it was coming out. I did some general marking up of some stones and other hard surfaced items I had about. The color is good. I'll need to think up some projects for that. I'm just disappointed that the quality wasn't there for my paper project. They're not a bad price. They seem to work best on nonporous surfaces. ... show more
