I wear 31 or 32 in pants around the waist and 30 in length, so (31×30) (32×30). I ordered a Medium but they were too loose in the waist and quite long in length. I like loose, but these were too loose. Even with the belt provided I had to tighten it too much which starts to curl the waist line and makes the belt useless. The medium is more for a person that wears 34 and 32 in length (34×32). The fabric is loose and breatheable not meant to be tight with these pants, so I like that the thigh area fit is loose, however, the waist area is not accurate at all. The medium was suppose to fit 32 waist but this is not true. You definitely need a Small if you wear 30,31,or 32. The waist line has elastic stretching material and so a person that typically wears a 32 will easily fit into a small. If you are wondering about the length of these pants, the Medium I ordered were long probably 32 in length. In my opinion, if you wear pants bigger than 32, then a medium is good, if you wear a 32 or smaller then get a small. Overall the fabric is soft but feels durable and water resistant. I got water on my ankles and knees and felt the cool temperature difference but didn't feel the water penetrate thru. So it's one of those fabrics where you feel the cold water because it's thin, but the water doesnt go thru. I like that it has several pockets and they are well zipped. The belt provided is okay. The pants do not have a typical button to close at the waist like a jean, instead it has a hook type of closure which I'm not too fond of, but it does hold together and doesn't unhook.

Purchased in hopes of wearing during those cold winter months. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on these (like Pantagonia or North Face brand) so was hoping to find something on Amazon. These appeared to be sufficient for the price. After receiving pants which were vacuum sealed with a belt and in good condition, the pants fit too tight in the legs. I have an athletic build, especially in my legs, and I believe these fit a lot like "skinny" jeans, which I don't wear. I personally found them way too tight and had to return, which wasn't an issue. Final thoughts: probably a good pair of winter pants but were just too tight for men with any muscle on their legs.

Now I only gave the pants a 4 star because my son wore them 2 days and one night. On the first night the one pocket zipper broke off and wouldn't unzip. He eventually got the zipper undone and he was then able to get it open with help. So the pants great but zipper was bad. These pants are apparently good for 2 days of wear.

These came in a paper shipping bag and inside were packed in a vacuum sealed plastic bag. I feel the packaging was adequate for the item although upon receiving the package I really wondered what the heck, it was stuff and small... anyway... Open the package and the item at first blush looked ok. I did not thoroughly inspect the stitching and everything but instead forced myself into them over a pair of pants I was wearing. Mission accomplished. I am 5'7" and weigh as of today 188 pounds (yes I am fat but love ice cream), in any event, my impression of these "Toomett Men's hiking Snow Pants Skiing Winter Insulated Fleece lined Outdoor Water Repellent camping, walking, fishing" is that they are similar to sweatpants or pajamas with pockets with zippers. The outer shell seems ok, the pockets are just nylon and I do not expect they will hold up to much use or carrying heave items on a regular basis. I don't know about water resistance or wind resistance as I haven't used them under these conditions as yet. What I can say is that I am sitting here in my garage with an electric heater in front of me in 43 degree temperature and wearing these as i have said, over another pair of pants and I feel a chill on my left leg where the cold air is entering the garage. I bought these because I will be going to Santa Fe, New Mexico this month and I honestly hate the cold. These may help but I think will still require thermal underwear / long Johns to be of much use. So, in summary, these are just "blah" whatever. $40 bucks for a day or two use but I don't think I would buy another pair... hopefully next December I am in Cancun, Mexico instead of the cold... dang kids passport expired or I wouldn't even be writing this review.
