I recently swapped my cordless vacuum battery to an adapter to use Dewalt 20v batteries. It would then no longer fit in the original cradle so I was searching for a way to mount it on the wall by the battery adapter slot. These worked perfectly. And nice to also be able to hold batteries on the wall as well. The mount plates are very tough plastic and well made with lots of reinforcement ribs on the back side. The location I mounted the stuff is drywall over plywood (closet area under stairs) and the included screws worked well for mounting the plates. I finally cleared space off my workbench that has been occupied by tools and batteries. The DeWalt tool and battery holders feel very secure and look like they will last a long time. I especially like the tip to adjust the tension in the tool with the supplied torx driver. I will note that it only got two of my tools as the third was the next size up. I also appreciate the included self-tapping square drive screws. Two improvements that would help in my mind: 1) The DeWalt tool holders should be tall enough to accommodate the belt clip that is included with almost all of them. 2) The screw holes should be set so they project the same amount out of the back/bottom of the tool holder. It would also be nice to be able to purchase a single tool/battery set and single or double tool or battery sets since my inventory is not likely to grow by five at a time. ... show more

Just received these and installed them under my work table. Flat bottom tools like the Brad nail gun, grinder, drills, and drivers works fine. Solid hold. But keep in mind, see pic and instruction manual, if you have belt clips like I do, you have to shim to make space for the clips. Also, the jig saw is angled and it hits the base plate so I will need to add an angled shim to make it work. *READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL. This is all mentioned in there. Product work as advertised! Battery holder fits perfectly and I tried it out on all size battery from 2ah - 6ah. Seems to be heavy duty molded plastic. Hope it lasts, but I don't see why not unless you bump or constantly bang it with metal objects! But they offer lifetime warranty! Would recommend and buy again. ... show more

These are hands down the best mounts ever. I have bought two other kinds before finding these and I need not look further. These mounts are in my work van and they are sturdy like no other. Not only do you get the mounts but they include a screwdriver for adjusting the tension on the tool so if your using them in a mobile application you can set the tension higher or if your in a shop you can make the tool have less grip on the mount so it’s easier to get off.
