I love muscletech. Large quantity, amazing quality with a great price. I opted for the Vanilla flavor due to the want for mixing protein with other flavors in life like Fruits and whatnot. Does that very well. The flavor of the Vanilla itself is lacking but hey its basic Vanilla. Use it to make Ice Cream or whatever. You get your protein intake and you can add additional flavoring without the overpowering flavor of the protien. Very good product

I was looking for generic protein powder, not "mass gainer," so maybe this is my fault, but make sure you pay attention to the serving size in terms of the nutritional content. This huge 5-lb tub only has 7 "servings" because they're each ~350g. If I put as much as that into a shaker bottle, it wouldn't all dissolve. I know because I put in 2 scoops (they ask for 6) and still had some raw powder in the drink. Setting that aside, the flavor is decent, and it mixes well with milk. Just don't presume you're getting as much protein as they claim unless you really go all in...at which point it becomes kinda pricy.

I feel like this powder has a strong artifical sugary taste that makes it hard to get used to. I bought it a while ago and still haven't finished it. It also gets very thick even with half the serving size so I only would use 2 scoops at a time.

Flavor Name: Chocolate Fudge Brownie
First time I had this was at work. I had 8 ounces of almond milk, 8 ounces of water, a banana, 2 tbsp of peanut butter and 1/2 a cup of oats. I normally do this combination but with protein powder. Thought I'd try a mass gainer to add even more calories. Overall, it came up to just above 1,000 calories. Not a huge deal. I have had plenty of thousand calorie meals. The first night at work I felt sick within the first half an hour of taking it. My mouth was dry, my head was foggy, my mind was racing, I was pacing back and forth, when I was sitting down I was heavily tapping my right foot against the ground. I wanted to leave. I felt like I was having a panic attack. I sucked it up and worked my shift. When I got home I immediately made a hot bubble bath with espom salt, which I could only muster 5 minutes in without feeling the urge to get out, took some pepto and laid on my bed for about half an hour. I could finally move but I still felt sick. Better, but not back to normal. Had a good night sleep and woke up much better. Second night, which for me is right now, I had just the mass gainer powder, 8 ounces of almond milk and 8 ounces of water. Nothing added to it, figured it was probably too much calories, in particular carbs. Nope. Not only did the EXACT same thing happen as the previous it was so much worse. Having food in it helped, having no food in it at all made it stupidly worse. Everything that happened before x 10 and then now I have really bad gas and muscle stomach cramps. I had to leave work half an hour early. I also bike to work and back, and biking back, for the first half of my 10-mile ride back home I honestly thought I was going to have to pull over, vomit and/or pass out and call for an ambulance. It was awful. Again, I sucked it up. Focused on my breathing, telling myself this feeling isn't forever, it's temporary and I made it home. But now here I am after a hot shower, pepto and some water, and my stomach is massively cramping up. I didn't even use the entire 6 scoops as recommended. I only used half that amount BOTH times and I still feel like this. I also forgot to mention that I had to make an emergency trip to the restroom at work and when I did I had blood on my toilet paper. So, yeah, stay away from this mass gainer. If anything, this made me stay away from all mass gainers. Drink this if you want a dry mouth, stomach cramps, foggy head, racing mind, state of panic/dread and blood on your toilet paper. Plus gas. Never. Again.
