This grow light is a steal for the price! I have been using it for about 5 weeks now. The best feature to me is the smart timer. Set it for 3, 9, or 12 hours, and it remembers to turn on/off same time daily. This makes it easy to use and functional for even the most forgetful person like myself. It has honestly been a game-changer for me in taking care of starter plants. I have a brown thumb but my babies are now thriving. They have just the right light with so many choices. Adjust between cool, white, or warm light + 10 dimming levels to get the perfect setup for your babies needs. The clip is strong and actually stays in place very well attaching up to about 1". The light itself is lightweight and will not swoop down like some lights do. The bulb itself is bigger than expected for a clip grow light. You get a lot of light for your money. I do highly recommend you get this grow light. If I have any negative thought, it would be that the clip could expand larger because it did not fit on a certain table I hoped to place it on.

PROS: Everything works well. The lights are bright. The available color spectrum is great, as are the dimming options. The timer works well. The cord is a useful length. I really like the width of the light panels. IFFY: These grow lights performed well when clamped to a thick, solid, horizontal surface, such as a table top or a shelf, with the lights positioned above the clamp. In that configuration, the lights were easy to position, and they remained where I placed them. If the area taking the clamp were less solid (in my image I've clamped the edge of a wire rack), the clamp would tip. In my vertical trials, where I clamped the lights to a solid vertical board, the clamp might hold or slide depending on how balanced the lights were. The lights, themselves, often did not hold their positions, and the weight of the light, itself, would cause it to droop out of position. The back of the lights is thin plastic. That has both pros (weight) and cons (fragile). The word "LIGHTS" is misspelled on the box, so if I were giving this as a gift, I'd rebox it.

This grow light is a great option to keep a small number of houseplants happy. I like the clamp design and the flexible necks, which make it easy to affix the lights to a table or shelf and direct the light where it's needed. The clamp is strong enough to firmly support the lights on up to a 1" thick surface, but it's unable to open up wide enough to attach to surfaces larger than 1.5" thick. It seems ideally suited for attaching to a bookshelf. The controller works well to adjust both the brightness of the lights and the on/off timing cycle so you don't need a separate timer device. The controller also lets you switch the lights between a reddish, bluish, or yellowish color spectrum depending on plant needs. I measured the light intensity 12" below the lights and it was close to 1000 ft-candles, which is comparable to what I get from pro-grade T8 grow lights, but these are a lot easier to set up and customize.

These are pretty darn good lights for the average person's houseplants. You do have to keep it plugged in to operate- it is not rechargeable. The controls are simple and user friendly. There is a timer function (blue light means 3 hours, Green light means 9 hours & Red light means 12 hours) If you select one, the unit will automatically turn on/off the same time the next day. For example, if I set the timer for 12 hours at 7:30am, its going to stay on until 7:30pm, shut off, then turn back on for another 12 hours the next morning at 7:30am again. Its a super helpful feature for those managing a lot of plants. There is a mode function button (the circular arrow button) that will switch between cool, white and warm lights. And the plus/minus button adjusts light intensity up to 10 levels, so you can really customize it. The only way this could be better would be if each light was individually customizable (admittedly that might be overkill for most) Also the flexible "stems" that allow you to move the lights into position are strong, sturdy and stay where you put them 🙌 All in all, this is a budget friendly option for anyone in need of supplemental lighting. I have other bulbs in this price range that are not nearly as large, so this particular one feels like I got my money's worth. Would recommend!

I ordered the TONYFUL LED Grow Lights for my wife, as she wanted to start flowers from seed this year instead of buying from home improvement stores or nurseries. Since the seeds were just planted a couple of days ago, I can’t speak to long-term results yet. That said, the initial impression is very positive. The lights themselves are very bright, and I like the larger panel design compared to some of the smaller, more concentrated lights. It seems like it will provide better coverage for multiple seedlings. The build quality is also solid. The clip feels sturdy, and the flexible arms make it easy to position the lights exactly where you need them. Once adjusted, they hold their position well without sagging. The power cord is long enough to comfortably reach a nearby outlet, which makes placement easier without needing extension cords. At this price point, it feels like a fair value based on what you get. Assuming they perform well over time, these should be a great option for starting plants indoors. Pros - Very bright light output - Larger panels provide good coverage - Sturdy clip and solid construction - Flexible arms allow precise positioning - Adequate cord length for easy setup - Good value for the price Cons - Too early to evaluate plant growth results - Long-term durability and performance still unknown

At $23 dollars, you get a decent value here for your money if you just need good light coverage on two lights, and you want ease of use/control/convenience. That said, it really depends on your use case, particularly if you plan to rely upon the clamp. While the clamp is decent in certain scenarios, namely that where it is clamped to a flat surface parallel to the ground that's not thicker than about an inch, I would not expect it to perform well in a scenario where it's clamped onto a surface perpendicular to the ground (like the sides of a book shelf for example). I also wouldn't expect it to hold well in basically any other angle than just the flat surface, as in my testing, anytime there was an angle involved it pretty much slipped and did not hold. The lights themselves are fairly bright. The controls are very ease to use and fairly intuitive. There seems to just be 3 different settings for different hue combinations. Another important thing to consider is that these do not seem water resistant whatsoever, they are a fairly open design with nothing more than an unsealed panel in front of the LEDs to protect them, and the back of the housing has slits in it which are completely open, so if you're misting or using these around any constant water source, you may want to reconsider. Build quality is definitely budget level, but that is totally fair for this price point. Comes with a fairly long power cord, which I was pleased with.
