This audio interface is incredible. I've had a Focusrite for awhile that I also enjoy and use in music production, but my Focusrite model only has one XLR and one instrument input. I needed to upgrade to something that had 2 XLR inputs; an upgraded Focusrite would have been a little too expensive for me, so I decided to give the Tonor a try after being satisfied with a Tonor microphone that was gifted to me. Tonor customer service is very prompt. Before purchasing, I sent them a message to be sure that this interface allows for 2 separate track recording via USB into a DAW so I could record instruments and vocals separately (it does!) and they responded within a day. And when the interface itself arrived, there was an issue with the USB cable that came with it, which they also resolved quicker than any other company I've dealt with. As for the device itself, I think it's quickly becoming my favorite recording interface. Other interfaces I've used have always had a bit of noise/buzz that I just chalked up to issues with my personal setup. This Tonor has almost no noise at all, even with the gain turned up louder than I need. The buttons and knobs are very responsive and have a great tactile feel so it's very easy to dial in your levels, and I like that there's an on/off switch so I can leave it plugged into my USB when not in use. The MONO button allows for mono recording is a nice addition as well, so I don't have to mess around with converting tracks from stereo to mono in my software. I've read other reviews that mentioned a buzz in the headphone jack, but I suppose Tonor has resolved that issue because I've found it to be very quiet and clear. I also read someone else's review saying that their device was in stereo mode when the "MONO" button was pressed and illuminated, but I didn't find that to be the case. On top of the great functionality, this thing just *looks* cool- very sleek design with color-changing accents sets it apart from all the utilitarian-looking interfaces on the market. I'm very pleased with the design, the sound, and the price of this equipment. If you're a home musician, you can get some great recordings with this without breaking the bank.

I love the design but no matter what it says "un identified USB plugged in. Unplug and try again" and I have had this happen on Linux and Windows 10, I even went to audacity to see if I could get a mic or guitar sound through settings with both operating systems. I hope the company will let me trade it in for the same or one of equal value since it's passed return time

Works amazing for a first audio interface, pros: it causes zero background buzz, the design makes it super portable, there no noticeable latency, and it’s super easy to use for beginners cons: can cause problems with muting applications that use the interface for audio output if it’s unplugged during use, and the weight distribution isn’t the most balanced out. But for a beginner in the industry this is perfect.

Interface works great with my new 2025 10.9” iPad (need USB adapter for iPad though). No noticeable sound floor issues or 60 hz hum. Good monitoring feature, just wish you could input a digital coax or optical connection as an extra option for recording .

It's mostly good. I do have two small gripes. The preamps are pretty clean. But I wish there was more input gain. I have quality headphones but I need to have levels up pretty high. It would also be nice to have the mono/stereo switch only change the front panel outputs. The USB will not record separate left and right audio tracks if the audio output is mono. I wish this was capable of setting the USB audio separate from the front panel outputs.

Preamp is so sensitive, it constantly overloads and cuts out. It sounds pretty nice but a relatively quiet dynamic mic is recommended to reduce the preamp cutting out. Sounds better than any Moana board. But a loud and sensitive condenser mic will need careful consideration to give extra distance and be easy with input gain.
