Sturdy and easily adjustable

I started an exercise program that recommended this step platform. It is a nice size - much smaller and lighter than ones used years ago in exercise programs. It's about 26 inches long and just wide enough for your foot. The great thing about it is that it has removeable "ends" that can make it either a 4 inch step or a 6 inch step. I'm a senior citizen and the lower step is safer for me.

Solid, built well but too small.

While this would work very well for a young, sure footed person, I find it a little small for me as an older person that is not as sure footed as I once was, the size of width barely fits my foot, so I have to make sure I step in the center and be conscious of every step I take. It will work for now but as I get better and move faster down the road, I will need a wider step for sure or I’ll break my neck! Lol.

perfect for my needs

This stepper is just what I was looking for. It's lightweight and very sturdy - I'm using it on carpet, not hardwood floors, so it stays in place. It's a little shorter (length wise) than I was expecting, but that's on me for not reading the dimensions that carefully. It's a great addition to my normal exercise routine(s) and I use light hand weights while stepping. Arrived promptly with the risers included - very easy to attach! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great but risers fall out of storage place.

The step itself is good and sturdy. Note that the length is the smaller size which is nice for home workouts where you might not have as much space, but if you're used to the bigger step you'll need to adjust. I liked this type of risers better than the big square ones and the fact that they store underneath if you don't need them, but.... Mine are not a tight fit. If I leave them there during my workout, they clunk every time I step. And they fall out whenever I pick up the step to move it in and out of its storage place. This defeats the purpose of having them store underneath! That is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

VERY SMALL AND LOW

This step is the smallest one I’ve ever used, both narrower and shorter than I’m used to. It is also very low. With the gray risers on the bottom it is about the height most steps start at. Without the risers it is just a few inches and even for a short person who wants a light workout (5’1) it feels too low. It is ok on carpet, but the little round feet aren’t very non- slip. The gray risers fit under the platform but they fall out whenever you pick up the step. It does feel sturdy. If you want an inexpensive step, you’re shorter, or don’t want a very challenging workout this could be ok for you. For $20 it’s not bad, but it does have limitations.
