I was looking for an adjustable ratchet set with a hinge to make it 90 degrees. I came upon this and decided to order this instead, thinking it just might work on my strangely designed kohler toilet where I was trying to tighten the bolts to change the seat. The bolts actually go through the tank itself-- and the only way to tighten the bottom bolt is to put your hand into the tank and reach under a lip. Nothing fit without hitting either the pump on one bolt, or the flush mechanism on the other. I didn't want to remove those right then. I tried different pliers, different wrench types and sizes, and the ratchet sets I have. This one worked and worked really easily. So pleased. By the time I received these, I had already expected it to take at least a half hour, since I had already spent so much previous time on this stupid project, but with the right tool, it took less than three minutes. They are "stubby" but they're long enough to grip comfortably and use in place of a regular ratchet set, too. Very good quality.

I use these ratchets everyday for work and theyve held up better than i expected all around they are pretty good little backdrag and not a whole lot of slop. They only problems ive had is the collar getting stuck at times and you have to smack the handle off something for it to work again or the collar just not popping back and locking into place, and my 1/4 in ratchet isnt as good a quality as the other two, it sounds almost dry when ratcheting and theres a decent bit of slop in the drive. But all around id still suggest the set they are decently cheap work fairly well with how much i use and abuse them

Use it today for replacing a rear wheel hubs. Very handy and useful. Above the expectation. I expected only used occasionally, but it turned out very handy in turning the bolt out or in. Of course it is not used for first braking or the last tightened. It provides a good torque to loosen/tighten a bolt & a big turn.
