Can't really comment on how long they'll last, but they seem durable, and they do a good enough job taking mill scale off metal stock. And for the price, it's hard to go wrong. Even the cheapest zirconia flap discs you can get at the super discount freight store cost $5 each. These come out to about $1.50 each, and they work great. Definitely a bargain! ... show more

These work really well, especially when you factor in that they cost a little over a dollar each which is a good value for the quality. I haven't had to change out the first one yet so it seems to last a decent amount of time. They are pretty aggressive and remove material with ease.

Unless you can move at warp speed, do not use these on wood, well, unless you are seriously trying to distress it. At 40 Grit, these work really well to remove rust and mill scale from structural steel and heavy plate. They can be a little difficult to get into the corners of an I-beam. You can use them to strip paint provided you are going back with a high build primer that will cover the abrasion grooves. ... show more
