I have gone threw probably 400 or more of these this year alone, I have a fabrication/ welding/ repair shop. These are thin cut wheels!!!! there are used for removing small amount of material when making a cut !! I have used them to cut out welds and to cut steel 3/8 thick. IF YOU CUT CROOKED OR TURN THEM WHILE CUTTING OR GET THEM IN A BIND THEY WILL DISSINIGRATE OR FLY APART !! Just like any other thin cut wheel. The bad reviews in my opinion are from people who do not know how to use correctly or safely. I have been using this brand for 5 yrs and only had one maybe two fly apart. both times was cutting underneath something handle hit something put in bind and pow. Not the disks fault but mine for not paying attention... Make sure your grinder is at the recommended RPM for these !! and not a lot higher or you will most likely have a problem. they cut very fast; but they wear down rather quickly. I prefer this because I don't like wasting time. it's practically impossible to find a product that is aggressive and extremely durable at the same time. the product suits me!

I use these almost daily. They thinner than what I normally use but do cut a tad faster and actually last a bit longer. Have been careless when cutting material one handed and at a reach...still have not shattered one, whereas the other brand I was using would have been obliterated a number of times. Always leery with a new brand of disc, but these exceeded my expectations. I thought for sure I'd pop or break it cutting this galvanized pipe flush with the concrete, but this wheel kept going. I cut all the pipes and retired the blade because I expected to use several. Probably still had life left. Will buy again if I ever go through these 50 ... show more
